Any $1 .com registars?

Is there any domain registrars offering promotion of $1 .com domains? I only know godaddy but they only allow 1 domain per account =[

Currently 1and1.com is running .99 special on domain Regs, though you will have to check their website to find out how many they allow at that price. Additionally, over the past few months Register.com has also been running .99 promos from time to time.

Various discounts and specials are pretty simple to find if you search Google for "cheap domain registration," or anything similar. Generally, the best deals will usually pop up at the top of the search results for the larger companies.

I often take advantage of deals at various registrars - BUT I will always make a note on my calendar to transfer out.

If you forget to, you may get auto-billed for a renewal a year from now, at a higher price.

1and1's deal is limited to one per customer. But make sure you read the other thread right now on how to transfer out. Their domain registrations are referred to as contracts and you need to follow their instructions on how to "cancel" the contract in order to transfer out.
