Registar change

Hello all,

I have some domains scattered around with 'small' registars. I would like to transfer them to my godaddy/moniker acc. Some of those domainnames are valuable to me. Is there anything i should be worried about changing registars? I guess i have to pay 1yr reg fee during transfer? Tnx for help, i ve never done that, i was only pushing domains within same registar.

There is nothing to worry about. You must pay transfer fee, which includes 1 year renewal. Price is often different from reg fee for 1 year. And usually you can`t transfer out within 60 days after transfer.

But i can transfer to another acc (sell domain) in the same registar (within 60 days period)?

Yes, you can usually push your domain to another account(sell to others) at the same registrar. (GoDaddy may not allow registrant change so frequently)

This is what you have to concern yourself with when transferring your domain between Registrars:

• Make sure the 60 day period has passed at current Registrar

• Make sure your Who Is info is correct especially the Admin email

• Unlock the domain

• Get the Auth Code

• Acknowledge the domain transfer request if required

• Make sure your Who Is is correct at the new Registrar

• Check your Name servers at the new Registrar

• Set domain(s) to auto-renew or not
