Tried placing an order at GoDaddy, and the domains weren't showing up in my account, so I gave them a call to see what's up. Apparently they've been having system-wide issues for a couple hours now - orders aren't going through and they're saying minimum 90 minutes before it's resolved.

My domains WERE NOT REGISTERED (despite my order confirmation email, and cc charge) and are still available right now..... I strongly advise that everyone double-check all GoDaddy orders today!!

I bought 3 today. They are not showing in my account yet and I see the cc charges on my card, free gocentral trials added for each and order history showing them. As well as receiving the emails for the orders.

So all is good except they are not in my account yet. This happened a few weeks back. I am sure nobody else could by them even tho they show available. Its just a delay in getting them to my account.

Yes, it also happened to me with two registrations. I called and they asked me to wait 24 hours for the problem to be fixed.

I had issues yesterday .. lost an expiring closeout domain because of it .. in fact .. there are A LOT of regular bugs as well as these kind of "temporary" issues with GoDaddy .. kinda hard to believe with a company that size .. but they have good prices (if you have DDC) and a massive selection of expiring auctions ... so we're kinda forced to put up or shut up ... lol

Ok, this explains a lot.

I put an unlock request on two domains and it was "Pending Update" for possibly up to a few hours.

Another strange thing, one domain was unlocked previously but my transfer approval (at the accepting registrar) failed because that same domain was locked again. I don't recall having that problem before with GoDaddy.

Well, maybe not... :punch:

Only so much a customer is willing to put up with, IMO.

I think they operate on the "more fools" theory. There are more fools arriving every day <joke>

They all showed up on my account an hour or so ago. Every now and then purchases are delayed.

I'd clear my browser cache and try again. If that doesn't work. I'd leave well alone until you hear this is fixed. If I was on a temporary IP address, I'd force it to change.
