Question...

Let's say we have a name that has been listed on Afternic for years, and it's been registered with GoDaddy. Now let's say we move that name to a different registrar (not GoDaddy). Once transferred, the name will immediately get removed from Afternic's Fast Transfer. I'm assuming that we have to wait 60 days to get it added back into Fast Transfer, correct? My question is, after that 60 day period, what's the procedure to get the name added BACK into Fast Transfer again? What steps do we take to get this done? Anyone know? @GoDaddy ?

48h with an offer for a domain and no broker working on it.
No one contacted the buyer back , no one asked me a price floor.
The assigned lead broker not answering.
Chat support saying that it’s a different department.
This is absurd Afternic.

They transferred LTO deal from Dan to Afternic and noticed that the payout balance and monthly payment amount displayed on my LTO deal at Afternic are significantly lower compared to what I had on my LTO deal at Dan.com. I contacted Afternic support and they created a ticket.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

It's a real crapshoot over there and brokers who wait days to respond to offers definitely cost us money, as everyone hates to wait. The two recent sales on Afternic had go-getter brokers who responded within the same day to the potential buyer and the sale was completed within days.

Strike while the iron's hot!

Most of my other offers it took the broker 2-3 days just to send them my price, and naturally, those negotiations tend to end up as "Stalled".

It's not rocket science and GoDaddy should have a firm policy that every offer should get a buy price notification within 1 business day of the seller providing it. Any longer than that, and you might as well just not respond at all.

I'm commonly on the other end of the equation, contacting vendors and suppliers to procure something, and if a company gets back to me fast and they have what I want, then we usually do the deal. If one calls me back 2-3 business days later then my mind starts to wonder "do I really want to do business with a slow-ass company like this?".

Usually the answer is a resounding NO!

Not many people know this, but GoDaddy is actually short for GonorrhoeaDaddy*. But it didn't do well in the ads so they shortened it.

Hello!
I sold the domain via Afternic's Fast Transfer network on October 24! That's over a month ago!
Transaction status is "Transfer Complete"
I still haven't received the payment!
I wrote a letter to the support service 2 weeks ago and no one answers me, as there is no answer to the correspondence in the topic about selling this domain on the Afternic website.

This is a very bad service. I hope you will solve the problem as soon as possible, because this is not my first sale and usually the payment was fast.
But now there has been no payment for over a month and no one answers my messages!
Who should I discuss this issue with to get the payment fast?

@GoDaddy, I'm sorry, but Godaddy/Afternic has teams of "experts" on the payroll and I am not one of them.

You have access to all the same publicly reported data that we do and more.

I realize this may sound exhausting, but I think you or someone on the team can do a few simple searches and gather your own examples.

Right now, this would be something that the support team would be able to help you with, however, we're planning on allowing sellers to retrigger Fast Transfer via the UI. We'll keep you all posted once this is live.

After chatting, we hope the way that Afternic sets LTOs out is clearer for you. For anyone following along, this wasn't a drop in LTO payouts between Dan and Afternic. Afternic displayed the payout amount, which takes into consideration fees and taxes.

Domain status is "LISTED" in Afternic. I wonder how many sales we're losing with these bugs, while Afternic is busy changing colors to increase "clicks" by 43%!

Surely there must be a way to calculate the lost sales ?
