By popular demand, we have launched a dedicated feedback thread for Afternic, the GoDaddy-owned domain name marketplace.

We have created this thread as a way for you to tell us what works, what doesn't work, and what features you'd like to see at Afternic (please be constructive with your feedback). We're looking forward to hearing from the domain investment community to help us shape the future of Afternic.

We will also be sharing Afternic product updates in this thread.

LOL, I just got an email that an offer had been put on one of my domains, but when I got there to check it out, this is the Status I see:

And my @GoDaddy account rep just confirmed nothing is likely to happen over the weekend.

Yep, Afternic is 9-5, Mon-Fri and nothing ever happens on the weekend.

I can remember the good ole days, when I closed many a weekend and late-night domain deal on Dan.

No big loss, the lead center is useless anyway..

I unlocked, and provided the AUTH code via Afternic and nothing has happened.

The domain wasn't transferred. It isn't pending transfer.

I reached out to my GoDaddy rep, who is looking into what is going on.

I don't expect anything to happen over the weekend, so from payment to transfer will be a week (best case).

This custom checkout link has been a disappointing process that reflects poorly on me as a seller.

And good luck getting a name registered with GoDaddy to transfer in less than 5-7 days if it is "flagged for manual review." No matter how many times or ways you tell the "Transfer Verify Team" that you are okay with the transfer, they absolutely positively will not transfer the name -- nor will they even reply to you -- until AFTER the 5-7 day wait period. Then the name transfers and you get an email that says "You are all set, the domain is no longer registered here. It has transferred and should be accessible at the new registrar." Gee, thanks! Such a joke.

Yep, right after I got that potential lead with the "Confused" status, Afternic started flaking out.

Not only can't you load leads anymore, but often when you click on the Lead Center, it displays code instead of text. Looks like they either melted down or were hacked.

Aye, sweet Afternic, is there any problem you can't create?

And just went you thought the weekends couldn't get any worse for domain sales, Afternic goes and dies.

I know, and closing down Dan while keeping Afternic alive is the definition of insanity. All the features everyone is demanding they add to Afternic were already on Dan and worked fine.

Like I said before, it's like putting a new Lamborghini in the car-crusher, and choosing an old Yugo instead, and then after people complain, GD is feverishly adding a huge engine, new dashboard, new seats, updated interior, racing tires, and fold-up doors to the Yugo, few of which even work properly.

Come on, you already had a Lambo with all the extras, WTF are you people doing?

I hope the executives who forced this decision through get thrown on the corporate hot-seat.

Afternic lander was ok yesterday, Today is not resolving !!

Guys keep checking your landers , This issue keeps repeating !
