44 names uploaded, 7 rejected outright because they were already listed. Worse still...

I am really at a loss as to why it thinks that 31/36 names need to be reviewed first...and this is not isolated, last time I uploaded my list just over half were pending review. And everyone that had to be reviewed last time have to again, plus more.

This is so frustrating, and I really feel bad for the Afternic employee who gets my email and has to do 38 WHOIS queries to clear this all up. Why does Afternic cause so many names to go in review? Why is there not a better way? :banghead::banghead:

It happens, the other day I added 150 domains, they excluded one, kept many of them on review, then added some, until now I have 4 names in review and I dont see anything wrong with them.

They go overboard of the review. I have to say I much prefer Sedo right now. I have the verification txt record as part of my default dns config that gets applied to all my names then I add the names and a few minutes later they are live, even ones that were previously listed by someone else are quickly verified and processed. Honestly i only use Afternic anymore to get into the Godaddy reg path.

Same experience! I have to email Afternic regularly to remove old listing or change InReview to Listed (even with domains registered at Godaddy. BTW, I have not been able to list from within Godaddy). We need disruptors to change the way we list domains for sale at Afternic, Sedo, or other MLS. Registrars and MLS operators should work together to allow you to list from within your account of your registrar.

So I got an email back from Afternic service. They basically said it is normal for large numbers of domains to go into review status. Which just seems unreasonable as most of them were already previously listed on my account with no issues, it seems uploading a reconciliation csv causes their system to reconsider them????? And then they said that all of theme were no longer in review but 7 of them were still showing as in review. Then all 7 of the ones I had to re upload because they were previously listed also went to in review, despite having just been manually cleared by afternic to be removed from the previous owners account so I could list them. And it seems this has become more prevalent in the last few months for this to happen. Its almost enough to make me want to reconsider my choice of afternic over sedo at this point, I am beginning to seriously question if getting into Godaddy's reg path is worth the frustration.

They are definitely more strict lately for some reason, I always mailed their support to accept the domains under review or sometimes i just delete the domains and add again

I think I need to stop using the reconcile csv option, ones that were listed now jump back to in-review. I got so frustrated I called and go someone on the phone and all he could say is "that's normal" and that is should all clear up in a day or two.

Well sorry to tell you Afternic, your normal sucks. There is no reason for this and it just makes the whole process frustrating. Meanwhile over at Sedo I add a domain and it gets verified via a DNS TXT record in a matter of minutes .A much better experience.

I would hope Afternic finds a new normal in 2020, and while you're at it lets get upgrade this archaic manual csv upload process with an API to manage my listing in real time.
