Since my portfolio has expanded, I have uploaded my current list to Afternic as a spreadsheet.

I noticed that 138 domains I already own were added to other accounts and deleted from my account. Moreover, I did not receive any notification about these assets removed from my account.

I informed Afternic to delete these domains so that I could relist them and they asked me for screenshots. However, I have neither the time nor the energy to take screenshots of 138 domain names one by one! Moreover, it is not my problem that they are deleted from my account without my knowledge!

Although I have repeatedly informed them that the screenshot is not proof at all and that they should use more valid methods, there is no progress on the issue yet.

I'm sharing a screenshot below to better explain the absurdity of the subject.

Accordingly, my name is Bill Gates and I can put msn.com up for sale for $1 billion!

Sounds silly doesn't it? That's why Afternic's validation method is utter nonsense!

If I can make this fake screenshot in 2 minutes, anyone can. Therefore, a malicious person can add the domain names I own to another account easily.

Why don't Afternic offer TXT record confirmation or custom DNS settings like other platforms? This will make things much easier for everyone and saves a lot of time and effort.

Mr. Gates,
Afternic is working on new methods for domain ownership validation. They have already instituted a couple this year. They will continue to expand the options and improve it, the screenshot is an interim measure if you cannot verify any other way. There are better methods on the way.

You can show them the WHOIS if you want. Also they started proactively scraping expired domains differently to get a more accurate handle on when names expire so they can be removed so new owners can list them easier. We also instituted and override with anyone listing via GoDaddy list for sale. If the domain is in your GoDaddy account we know you own it and it will auto list and approve and trump and remove any other listing for the domain if one exists. There are other improvements in the works currently.

None of my domains are with Godaddy because I do not work with Godaddy due to pricing policy.

I use whois privacy protection service for all my domain names, so the email address is hidden. Even if it was open, I would not use the same email address I used for Afternic account for obvious security reasons. That would be to make myself an easy target against brute force attacks.

Why do you prefer strange ways when there are already proper methods such as TXT / DNS verification?

Domain verification at Afternic is terrible for over a decade. Payout options of Tipalti are not enough.

Afternic is not working on anything. That's the truth.

With the purchase of DAN, who can do this, hopefully that will change for you. I'm not staying around to find out; it's been years since I've trusted GoDaddy.

Yea is a mess to add names at Afternic, always receiving message that is already listed, not TXT verification method, need screenshots every time.
About same problem at TDNAM, even if have the correct TXT, name will not get in process as message already listed is from the start when listed in other account.
DAN and sedo work fine with TXT.
