Hey guys,

I was browsing through a domain marketplace and came upon a exact match domain for a retail mobile seller which has many branches ( I presume so as the exact name is used in many locations for mobile shops) in various locations in my country.

What should I know and consider before I purchase that domain?

The exact match domain is two word, 9 letter, 11 years old.

How should I contact the company later and offer the domain and at what price?

In case it is not a single company but a whole bunch of different retailers how do I make the most out of this?


Does it effect the price or my negotiation level if the name is trademarked?

I assume the domain can be used for a mobile news and comparison website in case.

FYI. Been thru this already. One point to bear in mind about trademarks. it all boils down to Goods and Services. yea sure you might have an exact match word for a trademarked product or service. BUT if your goods and services for which you are using your MARK for is different from the trademark even a lawyer will tell you that it's allowed. so ? Facebook the seller of worms for fishing can operate as Facebook fishing supplies so long as they never operate a social network. at least that was my understanding when I trademarked my company name.

That isn't the domain and sangeetha already has a pretty good website at sangeethamobiles.com
