now that they ceased their longtime support for url redirects for all members as of today.. except if you reg domains with them.. all you can do there now on there is just switch around between your parked companies accounts..

so anyway this change today brought me to try their sale lander (FORSALE option in their manager menu)... and its not looking so bad.. any thoughts on it? just curious..

sample page:

www.mozart.xyz

it looks different if your logged into above.com.. most visitors are not, so try it after you logout

I think if you set it to self broker you pay no fee. not sure how to set it to self broker though

tested it with an offer and it seems I get email right away.. not broker.. and can counter etc.. but.. I think broker also gets it.. so its confusing.. can't have owner and broker countrering at same time..

thoughts on this? anyone using it? got offers or sales? how are their brokers?

thanks

It's nice but I don't like the idea of "might be for sale". It sends doubt to buyers mind

agreed. but bodis uses same wording as do many others

and there is a very specific reason for it.. which is that the domain MIGHT be for sale only depending if the price/offer is good enough for the seller and becomes accepted.

in other words, it is not entirely correct to write "this domain is for sale" if there is no bin price. if its make offer only, which this is (or bodis lander) then it might be for sale.

cheers

You have a valid point though. Both having pros and cons

Would be far better if it said... "May be for sale. "

=)

Looks like you pulled this site off above.com and went with GoDaddy. Does that mean you were unhappy with above.com?

One issue though.. with my adblocker installed the GD site doesn't load at all. I had to pause it to see your offer page. Not good. You want a lander that shows regardless of an ad blocker being installed imo.
