About .au domains

i know of a .com.au domain that i'm watching but i havent been able to find any services which can show the registration date and expiration date of the domain of .com.au's

also whats the best way to pick up the domain when it expires? i dont think services such as pool.com support .com.au domains do they? thanks alot guys.

To register a com.au domain you will need either an A.B.N. or an A.C.N. for starters. The domain name must be closely related to your business or company name. This used to be very strictly enforced but may have eased a little (but not a lot) with the freeing up of the com.au space registration wise. Hope this helps. Added, oops, I dont think they show expiry dates in the com.au space.
