For DAN and Sedo, yes. Where did you read about this method for Afternic?

Hello @yehiaalex39

Afternic Support can help you with proving ownership issues. They will probably ask you for some screenshots of the domain in your registrar account, with registrant details clearly visible (full name, address, etc).

Usually they only ask for proof of ownership when the domain is already listed by someone else that forgot to remove it from their account.

Let us know if it worked. Afternic Support is terribly slow, so prepare for the waiting game.

Good luck.

having lots of problems with them too ,went back and forth with an idiot at afternic that just assumed the domain was correctly listed because frank shilling was the owner , So I bid on it ,now I asked another guy that is the domain stolen,,,,he replied ,what makes you ask a question like that ,This is a godaddy company and he gave me the same counteroffer ,and told me to build on my bid and the seller may accept. Meanwhile the domain is sitting in one of my non godaddy accounts ,,,all this after I sent them a screen shot ,I give up sedo lets you put buy it now landers for 10% commisson and most of my domains sell from type ins anyway ,,,the one thing I like about afternic is they pay right away

If you add your domain to Dan that will also get it listed on the afternic network.

Once your portfolio gets lage enough and you are generating a lot to sales you will get a personal support rep and that will speed everything up.

True, but only if you have enabled "Afternic's Distribution Network" integration in Settings.

This is true to some point.

I hand reged a domain about 2 weeks ago, and, obviously, it was still listed at Afternic by the previous owner, for $50 :)

My domain had ns1.dan.com, ns2.dan.com, and the 3rd DNS, the one used for ownership verification. And I hoped my DAN listing will override the Afternic listing, but it was not true. After a week, I had to email to AN support to solve the problem.

Ah yes, that's annoying. On that note, I consider myself lucky to be managing Dan and Afternic listings separately and not through the integration. With Afternic there are always problems, with Dan actually rarely. The fact that the integration between Dan and Afternic is not going well is due to the part at Afternic -- at least that's my guess.

I also manage Dan and Afternic listings separately, because I like to have full control on every marketplace. I just tried to avoid another email to support@AN :)

And, yes, Afternic have a lot of problems. I will never understand why they don't use parts of Uni or Dan to improve it. Or simply get rid of the old and buggy Afternic and use modern tech, like Dan.

This is the reply from Afternic

In this process, we send a notification to your registrar, and all of the necessary checks are done on their end.

If your domain name successfully qualifies, your registrar should send you an invitation to "Opt-in" for our Premium Network.

Please be advised that the exact requirements for our Premium Network are as follows:

- The domain must be with one of these extensions(TLDs) - .COM / .NET / .BIZ / .ORG / .PW or .INFO

- It must have a Buy Now price, which additionally has to be under 100 000$

- The domain must be registered with its current registrar for more than 60 days

- The domain registration must not be within 30 days of expiration

- It must be registered with a Premium Network qualified registrar

- The domain name must not be subject to any form of transfer lock

With that in mind, we can see that your domain is newly registered on the 3rd of March, 2023, which would put it in a 60-day lock period after the registration.

Once that period is over, you may come back to us and we would be happy to restart the process with your registrar so that they can re-check if your domain would qualify.

In the meantime, your domain name is listed in our Standard Network, where it is broadcasted for sale with about 40 of our partners.

Keep in mind that the simplest way may be to have privacy off on your domains--even temporarily simply during the time you are about to do the listing. In my experience, all the marketplaces have done a decent job getting the listings up when privacy is off. If .there is any question, I merely have had to direct them to the lookup.icann.org to verify ownership.
