The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Scenario A
========

Sucky Domain Name = No type-in traffic = Zero Dollars

Scenario B
========

Sucky Domain Name + Garbage Content = Site Indexed = Maybe light traffic = <$1.00

Scenario C
========

Sucky Domain Name + Unique Content = Site Indexed = PRICELESS!

You just have to do some real work! Develop it into a real site with some real useful information, then stick AdSense on it.

develop it based on what they are or on their names. parking services are very effective to domains with existing traffic already.

:imho: you can ask for development ideas here anyways.

Yes, I know ... all seems lost! :cy:

But think of it this-a-way, MANY of us are also fooked 'cause we also have kinda cruddy (at first blush) domain names with little or no existing traffic, not indexed, no SEO or PageRank, etc. Seems bleak ... does it not? Grrrrrr. :guilty:

The answer, of course, IS to fire up those creative juices and think back for the reasons why you registered the domain name(s) in the first place? Afterall, you might have thought it/they might one day make for a cool website(s) ... come on, didn't you think that a little bit? Be honest now. :snaphappy:

Quick mini site...

Hi,

If its not getting any tarffic at all you should change it to a service like 1plus (see this example www.ofertahotel.info or whypark... see some of the links below. I have gotten good results with whypark but it is not free.

you can go for free backlinks eg put the names in your np signature and list at snn.gr
2 weeks is no time at all to evaluate success, give it more like 3 months...if 1plus is not working then try nd or something else. I found that names hibernating on sedo went into flower on nd...not big numbers but enough to feed the goldfish....

All of the above.
Plus try different parking services until you find one that works.
Develop & promote is always good.

I have a few domains parked at 1plus.net and still i get no traffic.It´s been 2 weeks now. Google has not indexed my domains, even though i added all urls.
I don´t know what i should do, i was thinking about link exchange programs.
Do you guys know if it really works/what´s the best site to do it?

Thanks

www.l5q.net - Already listed in google under the term "l5q". It has been setup at 1plus.net for only a week. The cache was taken only 3 days into it being there. The day before that I regged it!

You have to have links to the site, put the sites in your signature, on your blog, it'll get listed. Won't get much traffic unless it's a good term but it's a start

The OP asked what was the "best" way to get traffic to his domain. This question had been answered and confirmed by Mod Jeff's Post.
In this case, any further discussion to the contrary could only be considered options to the "best" and should have been stated as such within.

The links to parking pages do not represent the best solution.

My point here Ladies and Gentlemen is pay attention to the threads.
Make sure you understand the question before sharing your opinions.
Try and listen to, and learn from whats been posted already.

And most of all:
Following a Moderators post with the incorrect answers is not only an
insult to the Mod and the Forum, but also suggests the knowledge
level of those posting.

The "best" solution is Development of a content rich site.
So lets build, build, build! and dev, dev, dev!

Peace,
Cyberian

HI C Fernandes!

How can you register a site with WhyPark? They require an ad code from Google, Yahoo or other search engines. So how do you get such a code with an already parked site or just a domain name?
Any tips?
