868 views in 3 days, no clicks - Weird

I just parked a proxy domain on Namedrive and it got 400 views first day, 387 second day, and is up to 80 already today.. with ZERO clickthrough.

That is odd. All my other proxy domains with traffic get clicks.

Any ideas why so much traffic but no clicks?

The odds that there would be no clicks out of now 1038 views is very very low. My other proxy domains get clicks. I don't get it.

I just found it surfing the net. It's proxyhell.info. Backlinkwatch.com shows over 1000 total backlinks.

Well proxyhell.info is a former proxy site that was part of a network of proxy sites. That is why there are so many back links and that is why there are so many visitors to the site.

Honestly putting up stuff relating to adult content is prolly the reason you have no clicks. People are looking for a proxy when they click on those links are still out there. Try to figure out a key word that will fit in what people want to see or find.

I gurantee that people are looking for a proxy and as soon as they see the adult stuff they close it out. The general amount of people that are looking for a proxy are kids at school and people in china. So there is your target audience.

Best plan i can give you is get a proxy site up and put some google ads or affiliate ads up on there. That should convert a couple dollars a month with that amount of traffic.

This is so frustrating. It wasn't getting any clicks while I had it set to a proxy keyword. I just changed it to adult content yesterday just to see if at least the human instinct for sex could reveal whether or not there are actual humans behind the view statistics. Now 1114 views, no clicks.

I'm not interested in putting up a proxy site, nor will that solve the problem I'm trying to solve. The odds that 1114 views would not get at least one click is extremely low. My other proxy domains get on average 2 clicks per hundred views. I know you're trying to help but it doesn't look like you have experience putting up proxy domains for parking.

I told you the reasons behind why you are not getting clicks. If i were you i would simply put a proxy up. There are tons of free proxy scripts with add support out there. Plus as i said before its prolly kids in the ages of 12-18 years old trying to by pass their schools blocks. Basically they see no proxy so they close it out quicker than you can say "proxy".

i have several domains like this - i have tried all sorts of keywords including chinese/sex/proxy/free etc. - no clicks - i presume it is either a spider/bot that is getting under the parking filters or some other script/machine clicking away blindly

update: since moving them from Sedo to Parked they now register 0 visitors - so I guess it is an obscure bot/spider/script after all.

Put up a site with a host that has Awstats and you can find out if they are a bot or not. I believe google Analytics does this also.
