Hello all,

For several months, I have been recording 6N sales from Asian auctions. I now have enough data (thousands of sales) to offer some perspective on the 6N market and general trends. Because the market is so liquid (and large), I have segmented the data into specific "pattern" types which have a large enough sample size to be meaningful.

Please note that there are other threads for showcasing your domains and discussing 6N in general terms. In this thread, I will highlight and discuss only 6N.coms sold at auction (live bids and confirmed buyers) on Asian platforms. I will use this thread to focus on specific pattern sales with short commentary. Hopefully, this will help buyers and sellers in pricing and bidding.

Please note:

1. I have not captured every sale, but am confident I have recorded "most".

2. I make no warranty as to the accuracy of the final sales price as I am relying on the auction sites and the sales reporting site Chaomi.

3. There is a lot of data and almost impossible to capture all. For perspective, the pattern I will analyze today has almost 80 recorded sales in the last 7 days. How many of this pattern were published on Namebio in the last 7 days? The answer is 0. Feel free to add sales that I may have missed or from lesser known auction sites.

4. Sales are in Chinese yuan (CNY)- Conversion guide (changes daily, so not precise):

Comment: 13 sales, average: 2631 CNY ($400) Low 2400 High 3300 (8 end). The number 9 is always strong and this data confirms.

Summary: Remember, this is one week. There are hundreds of data points for each triple over the last few months. This pattern bottomed in early-mid December at 1400-1600 CNY on low end. The last two weeks show increasing price.

I will analyze the next pattern in a day or two.

Many others already at incredible prices with a long time left. From the looks of it premium patterns with 0/4 are rising to new levels as well. I've not seen similar names at these sort of levels before.

Yours is better overall. That other name does have a nice 0111 ending which of course includes a triple.
Nonetheless, if you see my last post you will see that all premium pattern 6n.coms with/without 0/4 are rising by the day almost. Check godaddy auctions right now, the prices for good patterns are flying to new highs.

666813.com is at $2025 now with over 2 hours left!
A similar name starting with 666 - 666312.com sold for $766 on godaddy last month. What a price rise

I have never seen premium patterns at these levels at any stage.

Yes the floor for average went down recently, but the quality names have continued to rise.
555626.com now looks like a bargain at $767 bought at namejet just yesterday.

A 666 start is probably a stronger name overall than a 6n with a 555 start, but $767 for that name to over $2k and counting for 666813.com? They are not that different overall to justify such a price difference, prices for premiums are simply flying IMO.

There is no gloom from anyone who is actually following sales prices closely. The only ones affected in recent weeks are those with the lowest quality 6n's.

Premium patterns are selling for record highs and that includes names with 0/4 in them as you can see above.

Good to know those with 0/4 are also doing well these days. Bought a few 6Ns a bit late, but at least the floor price is 20, which is for the worst.

Great names. I almost bid on the 111 ones, they're a great buy now that's for sure!
533322.com is a real gem IMO but they're all solid names and highly sought after in today's market.

To me sales like this seem like another level being reached in premium 6n's.
Just a month or so ago similar names were selling for $600-750 type of ranges on godaddy.
555626.com (555 starts a bit weaker to 666 starts) selling for $767 yesterday at namejet is now a bargain.

I think sales like the one above will pull the overall floor up very soon.

Nice name and solid price.
375365.com (365 ending) sold for $1275 yesterday on godaddy.

A name of mine - 822880.com just sold on namejet for $195.
Not the worlds greatest sale but still solid enough and nice ROI for me.

You have to realise that seller's pay a tiny commission on ename not like namejet and godaddy where you pay 15-20% and have to wait forever to get paid. That is 95+% net what the seller receives (depending if they cashed out or left the money at ename, I think it's only like 2% or so if they do that) so a pretty decent sale.

Yes he may still have left some $ on the table but it's not the same as seeing such a name selling at godaddy IMO.

Triple ending is generally 2.5-3 times expensive than triple beginning. Recent sales data backs me what I think. But hey there is always room for improvement and I am ready for it.
