I just checked it out and regged some and wanted to share. It's for new registrations only (no renewals / transfers. Despite their confusing wording). Unsure when the deal will end, but it's pretty nice.

I've had around 50 names with them for well over a decade and have never had any issue. They only register c/n/o but their prices are competitive.

Nope, the promotion has only applied (and still is) to new .com registrations on namebright. Transfering a .com to that registrar currently costs $10.99 (attached screenshot for reference).
