Bids Bash is a fun shopping website that offers brand new products through its fast-paced auctions for huge discounts.

The pages are already been designed. Here are 3 examples of the website pages:

The color combination obviously has to match the layout.
In terms of color, it would be preferred that you only use solid colors instead of gradients, like in the layout.

The word Bids Bash is derived from the term" Birthday Bash" so the word Bash in the logo could display sort of a party element in it. Obviously this is not mandatory and I will be happy to see your creativity. In terms of the over all feel of the logo. I prefer a more professional/simple logo as opposed to a funky logo. With that being said. I do want some sort of fun element in the logo too. I do not want the fun element completely ignored.

One very important thing. I want a symbol incorporated in the logo as well. A symbol that I can use separately in places where full logo is not needed. An example is this website: http://quibids.com/ . This is a penny auction website also. They use the full logo on the website but as their facebook page display picture(seen here: http://www.facebook.com/quibids), they are using the "Q" of Quibids as the symbol. So I want the same thing in my logo as well. My idea for symbol is to make a symbol of "BB" as in the first B of Bids and second B of Bash. But the problem is that Quibids is only having Q as symbol but since we are using two letters as symbol, i think it would look weird in our logo. So this is where your creativity come is. As to how best you can incorporate a "BB" symbol inside the logo. You may even place a double B symbol separately and place Bids Bash text separately and connect them in a way. But again it is up to you as to how you put it together. But a symbol is MUST.

Can you kindly send me simple white background versions of both the logos so I can properly see how they looks ?
Because the first one still is looking readable but in the second one I cannot see whats written inside the logo properly. So kindly skip the business card and send me simple versions like the others have sent.
Also when you send these, kindly do an edit in the second one. That is to remove the bids bash and the slogan text inside the circle symbol, so i can see how that looks. But also do include the version in which they are added so i can compare.

I liked both. At this point I don't want any more revisions from your side and these two versions that I liked have successfully reached my final list of logos out of which I will select the contest winner.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

The contest date has been extended till 22nd December. If anyone wants to send a new draft, please feel free to submit one till tomorrow.

The designers who's designs have already reached the final list are not required to submit a new draft. With that being said, it doesn't mean that the finalists are not allowed to submit a new draft. If the finalists do send a new draft that is as good as the ones is the final list, then that will increase your chances to win the contest.
This date is primarily extended for anyone who hasn't joined the contest yet or for the ones who's designs didn't reach the final list yet.

I apologize that your recent entry got deleted. I don't know why it didn't show because I didn't delete it. I guess the moderators deleted it and only allowed another designer's entry because there was a revision expected from his/her side. Anyways, I have extended the contest date only for designers such as yourself who's entry has not reached the final list because I think everyone deserves a chance to win. My team members took a little longer then expected to decide which logo to choose, as every final entry was extremely impressive and I appreciate everyone for their efforts and time. It was really a fun contest and I am really looking forward to work again with all you talented people.
