Bids Bash is a fun shopping website that offers brand new products through its fast-paced auctions for huge discounts.

The pages are already been designed. Here are 3 examples of the website pages:

The color combination obviously has to match the layout.
In terms of color, it would be preferred that you only use solid colors instead of gradients, like in the layout.

The word Bids Bash is derived from the term" Birthday Bash" so the word Bash in the logo could display sort of a party element in it. Obviously this is not mandatory and I will be happy to see your creativity. In terms of the over all feel of the logo. I prefer a more professional/simple logo as opposed to a funky logo. With that being said. I do want some sort of fun element in the logo too. I do not want the fun element completely ignored.

One very important thing. I want a symbol incorporated in the logo as well. A symbol that I can use separately in places where full logo is not needed. An example is this website: http://quibids.com/ . This is a penny auction website also. They use the full logo on the website but as their facebook page display picture(seen here: http://www.facebook.com/quibids), they are using the "Q" of Quibids as the symbol. So I want the same thing in my logo as well. My idea for symbol is to make a symbol of "BB" as in the first B of Bids and second B of Bash. But the problem is that Quibids is only having Q as symbol but since we are using two letters as symbol, i think it would look weird in our logo. So this is where your creativity come is. As to how best you can incorporate a "BB" symbol inside the logo. You may even place a double B symbol separately and place Bids Bash text separately and connect them in a way. But again it is up to you as to how you put it together. But a symbol is MUST.

Oh you're right. I am actually embarrassed now that I didn't notice that myself in the first place. I guess I am awake from 2 days straight and may be that's why I couldn't pin point that its a Windows / Office replica.lol.

Nice symbol. Kindly apply the following changes and send back so I can see how it looks:

1. Remove the shadow at the bottom of the logo.
2. Remove registered sign.
3. On the symbol, Make the blue/bigger solid blue instead of gradient. The same blue used in the layout.
4. The font is not looking good. Please send me multiple font examples to look into. Use different variations of fonts.
5. And also in the fonts use solid colors instead of gradients.

When you make the changes, I'll see how that looks.

I really likes this entry. Especially the symbol. This is very close to something that i was looking for. Although the font is not matching up/balancing with this symbol, so could you please post some different variations of fonts which you think would match up better with this symbol?

This looks VERY nice. The symbol, the font. everything balances out nicely. And i liked they way you placed a vertical line between the font and the symbol. For this particular entry, I don't suggest any edit at the moment.

Good attempt here. I liked the second one.

Two things which I would like for you to change in the second one so I can see how that looks.

1. The white area in the symbol. Could you please replace the white color with the grey ?
2. Also when you place the edit in point 1. Also post a few different examples of fonts as the symbol does look good but the font is not so much appealing so a couple of font variations would be nice.

I am really liking this symbol as well. Also also the font.

If you can kindly do the following edits for me to see :

1. I understand the gradients you used are making the over all logo to pop but if you could kindly try to make the colors to be the solid blue and grey used in the layout, that would be good. And also if you think that making them complete solid would not look so good then please also include a gradient version in which the prominent blue and grey is the one used in the symbol as opposed to the darker ones. If that makes sense.

2. Place the vertical divider you placed in the other logo in this version as well, so i can see how that looks.

Dude I did like this symbol before but with the new entries that have come in from other designers, I would say that I would have to drop this draft. And request you that you kindly refer to the feedback i have provided on other logos and come up with the similar new concept if you can.

Regarding these entries, I should say that I am not particularly liking the idea of the symbol being used twice inside the logo. Instead a separate double B symbol would be a much better idea like the other drafts. So I suggest you come up with a new concept and drop this.

And the drafts which I dropped. It certainly doesn't mean that I am dropping you from the list. I am just dropping those particular drafts and motivate you to come up with new concepts on the base of the feedbacks I provided to drafts that i liked.

Really like this. I like how this nicely represents the name of the website. But the main problem I am having is that despite that it nicely represents the word Bash and have that fun element in it, it still doesn't have a strong symbol which we can use in places where the full logo will not be placed and can become the brand symbol. So can you kindly do a version which is similar to the feel of this one but has a strong symbol like the other designers have given? make sure you keep the feel same.

Also its "Bids Bash" not Bid Bash, so kindly correct that.
Secondly when you fix the spelling, I would want that next version to be displayed in a horizontal way. I mean both the word Bids and Bash should be shown horizontal, not tilted towards upwards, if that makes sense. Thirdly the black outline you placed outside the text etc. the outlines should be dark grey like in the layout, not black.

I liked the third and sixth one. Although in my last feedback I asked you to kindly change the white area inside the third one to grey. So kindly do that with the third one and send me back so I can see how that looks. Over all these two that I liked have successfully reached my final list of logos out of which I will select the contest winner.
