Just picked these up. Trying to decide whether to develop or sell for a quick profit....

blogyour.com
blogyour.net
blogyour.org
blogyour.us

When spoken naturally, they roll off the tongue very nicely and they are super easy to type.

EX: "Blog Your Dot Com"

I was thinking these domains would be excellent for TLD-specific Blog hosting services. Possibly even with a discussion board on each TLD for increased appeal and traffic.

Any thoughts on value or whether I should sell or develop?

Thanks!

James

P.S.
I'm big on giving rep points for quality feedback. ;)

Great Names!

you should hang on to those names. They would be good for proxy pages for TLD specific blogs!

Great thinking man!

Thanks for the feedback!

Trying to grasp what you're meaning about the Proxy pages. Are you meaning like a directory?

Anyone else have any feedback [good/bad/indifferent]?

Thanks!

If you have any development skills, I'd definitely recommend doing that. There are tons of free Blog scripts out there, I'm sure you can find one that fits nicely and allows multiple users.

Then you can set it up to create subdomains, like blogspot does... ie. slipxaway.blogyour.com would be the site for my blog...

Only bad thing is that when you say blogger.com and blogyour.com it could get confusing... so word-of-mouth might be a bit unreliable...

So far, I've only been able to find one multi-user blog script that was free. That being by WordPress, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I find the right app.

RE: Blogger vs BlogYour...

I guess it is kinda close when pronounced, but the Y adds in the muscle movement enough to create a distinction.

I agree with you that it is similar, but I'm wondering if that would be a downside.

Thanks for the food for thought!

I think if you get it up and running and get a few users, some backlinks and whatnot, it won't really make a difference. People will find out about it one way or another and eventually it'll grow :) I do think it is a great name though, it's better than most of the blog* spinoffs you see, because it gives users a sense of ownership and the power to create their own space online. Definitely a nice find.
