Hi, This is Rich Trader. I have been in the domain game since jan 2016. But haven't made even a single sale yet. I own 32 domains. But not even a single sold. I have invested money in buying and renewals.Any suggestion on how to sell would be welcome.

You've got quite a few opotions and choices. If you haven't had a sale you need to review two things. One is you portfolio, and, as has been suggested, you should list that here for disussion. That is is you don't mind "creative" comments. :)

The other review is you sales strategy. It may be that you need to dispose of 75% (say) of your names, and use the money to pick up some other names.

I also own quite a few adult names.

You have some good 'Crypto' domains. Try listing them here for sale. I am sure, people would buy some. Another good option is hard-selling. Email potential buyers, work hard and by hard, i mean, very hard. Sale doesn't come easy these days.

Also, get good mentoring here. We have some good domainers who are doing good. Follow their ways and you will get success.

XRP is the ticker code for Ripple, so blockxrp could have some potential
bluvirus is another that could work - either in animal husbandry, or computer security.

I don't relly like the others, but it might be worth auctioning blockcahain1001 and similar names.

I also own quite a few adult names.

Adult names are in a different market. It's too easy to string together a couple of words to make a "stunning" name. In my opinion, adult names are bought for income, and not for resale. They used to sell for around 10 months income, but of course, there is considerable variation on that.

How should I price them?

Adult names can fetch you good price, if they are one/two good worders. Try the adult domain name section here.

It depends on the niche, and revenue potential. The last one I sold was a cam name, but you should raise this in the adult section.

I'm trying to move some of my adult names over to mainstream, as I think the prices are better there.

You are not a domainer, you are a guy that bought 20 random URLs....and nothing happened.
It is like saying you are a porn actor sine 2016 but you never been acting in a porn movie.

List them on one of the platforms (I guess you already did that?) and see if you get any offers.

You are asking some basic questions such as :"How to price a domain?" How can we know that, you know how much you invested and what are your expectation. If you think domain is shit, get rid of it.

I have seen many better BTC/Blockchain related domains that expired and that anyone can pick for $12...
My personal favourite is bitcoin4tards.com

Hi,
The purpose of this thread is for taking advice. If I myself wanted to price them I would have done it myself. Not opened a thread.
Thanks Anyways

Some example of my names that haven't been adult for years.

BeLarger.com
BigGal.com
BigNaturally.com
DirtyMarks.com
JustTheGirl.com

and quite a few more. I got out of adult names during the crash following the rise of tube sites and review sites. It's a completely different market now.

Hey Rich. Make sure you updated the domain at your market registar. Then summit at Sedo and afternic for free, ( all this if you still didnโ€™t do it ) .
Use your twitter and facebook to follow forums and crypto blogs and share your domains ( make sure you donโ€™t break rules and it is alloweed to post domains.
And just wait, I donโ€™t see impossible sales. But try to open to other niches and try a good hand reg. Little by little increase your portfolio.
You can even use efty landing page to show your domains.
You have a lot of options to sell domains just read as much as you can, and of course itโ€™s better study the market without spending a penny that register 20 domains with no sense.
Hope it helps.

Yes but the things pricing them right. I see many crypto domains going very high. So I wonder If I can price them in the high five figure range or a few hundred bucks.

I know a lot of sales came from an inquiry asking how much or Make offer. Not necesary to put BIN always, it depends on domains and of course up to you and your strategy.

OK - I'd let the adult ones go, but you should list them on various sites to see if anyone will buy one. This include NamePros.

I thought I'd look at bluvirus.com just for fun. Google search trends doesn't have any recorded interest. The exact phrase search throws up a number of pages, but nothing that is less than a year old. This was the first page that I opened
https://www.researchgate.net/figure...d-and-gonotrophic-cycle-length-for-C_12318355

I found it a bit daunting, and backed off fairly quickly. Then I looked at the net presence.Using who.is, it seems that Name.com is the registrar, and provides no whois info for potential buyers to contact you. The list the name for sale at $516, and that seems a bit optimistic to me, and there is no mechanism to make an offer. Visiting the site threw up some adverising links, and a suggestion that you should phone Afternic to buy the name. At this point, if I had been interested in buying the name, I would have given up. Whois.com tells me it is registered with Godaddy, and that I can buy it for ยฃ126.30.

You have a year of life on the name. I think you should take control of the sale, and build a mini-site on it. You don't have to pay for this. You could setup a sub-domain on a CMS like wordpress, and use URL forwarding to send traffic from direct navigation. You can then list the name for sale at various locations. Don't include a BIN though.
