123-REG.co.uk - EU Pre-registrations - Refunds

Hello,

I had about 12 out of 13 of my pre-registrations for the .EU Landrush periods set and fail with 123-Reg.co.uk.

Their contract said that all money would be refunded for any unsucessful pre-registrations.

They have about £200++ of my money... they've had it since December!

They dont seem to be replying to my emails or anything. I've sent recorded mail messages with a deadline to them by instruction of Consumer Complaints UK with no reply to that either. The case has now been refered to Trading Standards UK to take the next steps to getting my cash back.

Has anyone else had any problems the same?

I'm very VERY annoyed that they are being so slow about getting this sorted, it's like the couldn't give a damn that they have a wad of my cash!

Their phone support is awful...
Emails never get replied...
Post gets ignored...

I haven't, they still owe me around £200. I've requested a refund twice and have heard nothing for about 4weeks.

Incidently, whereas you've got luke.org.uk Ive got gary.org.uk.

I wasn't going to buy any .eus, until I saw they were issuing 2 letter and 2 character .eus. Nearly, all my pre-registrations for .eus were for names like m8.eu, m9.eu but three days before landrush someone put in sunrise applications for virtually all the remaining LN.eus. However, with eurodns all my pre-registraions were for the names of English counties (because I got place names like halifax.org.uk which gets a lot of traffic) and many of these were also wiped out by last minute sunrise applications.

.eu sounds like a total washout.

I personally think that 123-reg are ok, but they are expensive, and i personally find that annoying, and i think they need to fix thier problems asap. As for this, it is totally unfair having wasting £200+ on domains which you didnt even get!
