Hello,

I'm really getting annoyed with with DomainDiscount24.com.

Last week I decided that I wanted an account to pre-order some .EU domain names... when I came to do it It didnt work and I had to try 5 times and then leave it for a day to find that none of them worked. I had to put my credit card details in 5 times aswell which was particularly tedious!

I went back 2 days later and it still didnt work, I contacted them and they just asked me to state an error message... there was no error message it just DIDNT WORK! So i tried my IE brower and it didnt work, firefox AND netscape and it still didnt work. I decided to use Opera and to my surprise.... it worked! No other brower except Opera... and I don't have a clue why!

I finally got my account and tried so many times to pre-reg a .EU domain and it didnt work. Each time I submitted it, it told me that my order was successful and that I will recieve a confirmation email... did they ever come? NO! So I didnt have a clue where I stood! I emailed them and they told me that they werent accepting pre-registrations over that weekend!!! THEY DIDNT THINK OF PUTTING A NOTICE ON THEIR SITE DID THEY AFTER MY 500 attempts at doing the sodding thing! I submitted one after the weekend and it finally worked.

Now I come on to pre-reg more and check my original pre-reg... AND I CANT LOGIN THIS TIME! It comes up with unix-socket. Im not even gunna bother emailing them because they'll probably tell me that they are not accepting logins this weekend.

I only got my account last weekend and theyve pushed me to the point of GRRRRR I dont know what!

What the hell is wrong with these guys???

How can this company POSSIBLY be my best bet at pre-registering .EU domain names for the landrush? :td:

I am impressed that you would want to persevere with a company which seems to have rather dodgy software at best. Walk away and find something with better rep.

Hmm, I've been using their site extensively over the past couple of weeks and not had ANY issues at all. Their phone support is brilliant.

near 30 domains pre ordered with them they look ok to me.support was bit slow but they do reply in 24-30 hrs

I've used them for almost three months, mainly for IDN.tv. I had a little bit of a problem initially trying to register domains. But I emailed them and it seems the problem was on their end. Everything has been great since then. Emails support was pretty good - I had to email a couple of times for various things and they responded quickly.

Thanks for the responses.

I have chosen to persevere with them for the .EU pre-registrations because of their success rate in the past.

I think that I shall not be using them in the future for general domain management.

Its just annoying having so many problems with almost the first 72 hours of using their site!

For me they have been,and continue to be at the top for pre-reg catches and I have had no other problems with them. That said I have so few .eu pre-regs left after the "fake" sunrise/tm period I would not be surprised to fail to get any.
