I still enjoy doing it on occasion because it is exciting to close a deal that I completely manufactured on my own. When I have been doing outbound, the call to action is now to direct the prospects to...

advice The importance of your outbound email subject line

Successful domain name investors put a lot of thought into the emails they send to end users. The email body is important, but the email subject is even more important if you want to improve your chances at a sale. In fact, until the email is actually clicked on and opened, I would go as far to...

advice The best time to buy and sell is before the end of the year

The end of the year can be a pretty good time to sell and buy a domain name. Companies may have extra money to spend, particularly related to marketing budgets. Individuals may be in a more jolly mood and may be more willing to fork out cash on a domain name acquisition. On the flip side, some...

discuss I wonder why many domainers want to sell catchy/brandable domains for few 1000 dollars or less ...

I believe patience and quality is the key for much higher prices in future, what if they can buy/steal your domain(s) for cheap at marketplaces (with their own domain pricing!) AND turn it into a succesful brand ... Some domainers ( it seems like) want to sell for nuts ... I wish them all a more...

strategy Don't use min offer on your names. At all. Just BIN.

I know it might sound counter-intuitive for many, but this is what I have been doing this year. And I'm not going back. Reason: I've discovered that using min offer does NOT increase my revenue. At all. It probably won't improve yours as well, unless you are really unsure about the price and...
