The proponents of wearing Masks have been saying all along that the kind of Masks that are available to the general public offer little protection against the virus particles for the mask wearer, but that they do help prevent the droplet projectiles that enter the air from sneezing or even casual talking from traveling long distances and landing on the face of those who are in our close proximity,

Think of Masks as a napkin that is held in front of your face without you having to hold it by your hands.

In this context wearing Masks (or some kind of a face covering) makes perfect sense and is the Logical thing to do.

As an experiment let's choose two similar Cities with the same population, in one City encourage (or even require) people to follow the rules of hand washing, wearing Masks, physical distancing, keeping good hygiene, sanitizing the objects and the environment that they come in contact with, sheltering in place when they don't have to go out, and quarantining themselves and contacting a health professional if they are showing symptoms. In the other City have them listen to those who see no need to take any precautions.

I am interested to know what would be the outcome after six months or so in each City.

Fortunately we have powerful computers that can run simulations without having to put actual people at risk and without having to wait six months to see the results. We need to have our scientist run every possible outcome in these simulations and then let the people see for themselves what the right thing is to do.

Of course we have to base all simulations on the assumptions that we want to have as little fatalities as possible while being able to save people's jobs and the Economy and just go from there.

I agree that the situation with the virus has unfortunately been politicized and taken out of context by all sides, but regardless of what is said in the media we can see for ourselves that our local Hospitals are getting overwhelmed and in some hotspots they are running out of ICU beds, we can also see for ourselves the portable morgues that are parked outside in their parking lots because people are dying in much greater numbers than average.

This is not a made up thing, people are actually dying, and it will only get worse if people don't start taking this situation seriously.

I appreciate you trust your experiences oldtimer and do not believe whatever is shown on the TV just because it's convincingly scripted to promote agendas of division and fear. I know first hand how the media distorts images of the world to fit various agendas.

The world still is not outside of the normal expected range for total mortality worldwide.

The death rate from coronavirus is very very low.

In my home state of California, we are at 8,186 CV19 deaths (many questionably labeled, remember CV19 deaths just mean they are LABELLED, not the cause of) out of a population of 40 million people.


Think of that....

Think of the SF Bay Area or Los Angeles, massive....Millions and millions of people...

And then imagine the size of a tiny town of 8,186 people somewhere in between - that town may not even have a traffic light or much more than a post office and a few stores.


CV19 isn't getting worse, thousands of positive tests means little, especially as we know the tests aren't actually accurate. We already know the death rate is microscopic.


The jig is up for those who can see the truth amidst the dark spells that have shadowed critical thinking.

And once AGAIN, that video and quote were from March 8th when we knew FAR less about this disease than we know now.

The bulk of our knowledge in March was based on what little info we were receiving from WHO and China - with China holding back a ton of info and not even providing us with samples of the virus.

But in "Compasssion World", time stands still. New information/data is not allowed to supplant old data, information, understanding or statements. In "Compassion World", one is not allowed to change or adapt one's stance even though additional new data and information has been garnered. I've been living in the Atlantic bubble since the outbreak began. At first people wore masks and practised social distancing voluntarily. Covid numbers went down. Now with zero cases and no new cases, the government is mandating the use of masks. Why? IMO they want to open the border, bye-bye bubble...it's been real.
