I'm getting a steady traffic of at least 20 visitors a day to blookery.com still, not a lot of click through's though. They're probably using the links I posted for more information...but as long as it pays for itself i'm not all that bothered. :P

Anyways..I just now read the last 16 pages I missed and decided to build blooktalk.com right now to get it started. Let's see where blook takes us.

Truth be told, no one knows how big "blooks" will become at this stage in the game. But you can't argue that they aren't growing. Two recent sites I've found (via AdSense by the way - ie. paid ads) are:

iBlooker.com
and
blogtobook.com

Both are "create your own blook" websites. Curious if either are NPers sites.

Courious why so many keyword "Blooks" are still available? Sounded from all the posts that "Everything" is registered. I would think a solid keyword followed by or preceeded by Blook would have a greater chance of immeadiate application as opposed to a "Brand" type name that would require a tremendous amount of financing & development to make worthwhile.

I think one reason is similar to this. There is a blook out there called "The Diamond Jones: the unlocking" . How does one make a meaningfull name out of that. This is from the Web site:

I like this idea where an author introduces a character via a blook. http://www.llhdirect.com/mambo/ and notice the site is a CMS not blog software.

I think the best shot from our place as speculators is things like reviews, search sites, specialized directory listings, general information sites etc.

There can only be 1 DogBlook without going into 3 words... I think the value here (and many other keywords) is in DogBlooks (I like info for these) where the blookers could list their work, blooks could be reviewed and maybe a blog/forum (or maybe both) all about dog blooks etc. That is why I bought several .info names and feel that my NON-FictionBlooks-com, NON-FictionBlooks-info, FictionBlooks-info and may be the best of my small stable of names.

Now if I can just carve out 6 months of my life to develop this...

there is myblook.info

So you basically want a monopoly on blook websites? That's a bit ambitious, and you're behind the game...(there are already a couple of sites using my blook directory idea, sigh).

Over the past few days i've had a couple of people approach me and ask me about selling www.blookery.com and the site with it...i've told them i'm gonna wait and see how things turn out. Do you guys think this was a good decision?
