3 sales from 80 odd names is quite good.that is true
that chances the odds a little
so here are my personal stats
Submitted:728
Rejected:623
Published:83
Sold:3
8 are pending for design
1 accepted domain I do not want to publish
let say I spend $7280 usd on registering domains
and $830 usd on fees
now I m f*cked as I spend $8110 usd
as I was paid only $6950 usd
I wasted $1160 usd
to have 80 published names
and 8 pending design
thats $13,18 usd per published name
- I can live with that-
come on BB give me another sale

What is disappointing is your acceptance rate. Maybe you should have stopped submitting after your 100'th submission?
stopping never..
improving ever ..
just 1 odd name
2 x nice 4l.com
which featured sections? It is extremely hard to make money with BB as shown.
What I think they should do is put other users domains in prominent positions rather than mediaplows so that we can all celebrate others success too.
I mean come on, give us all a chance, let the DIrector stay off the featured section for just a few weeks? Good idea?
I thought your calculation was based on hand regs only?

To be honest nobody really knows if he is a partial owner or pays the 30% or not. BB may have given him a percentage of ownership to keep him loyal to them. It happens all the time in business.Michael Krell is not the owner of BrandBucket. Michael posted on TLDinvestors.com that he pays 30% commission like every other BrandBucket seller.
Maybe the buyer didn't come to BB and find your name and instead thought of the name himself and just followed the link to BB. Without real stats from BB you don't how any sale actually occurs on their platform.Featured names depends on what they like. I once had four names featured. If the buyer doesnt want your name then featured or not it will not be bought by that buyer.
I know other useers here who had their names featured too.MK has good names and spends more than we spwnd I think cause the names he has are great. Also, when you have 5550 names out of a 35000, I think there will be more chances for that such owner. I have 28 published, 8 pending, 2 sold . When I sold my first name, I had 5 names published with only one being there almost a year . Yet , a buyer came and like my only odd name and bought it.
Then I had 11 and made another sale. All hand regs. So sales can happen at any time.
All I know also is that members with big portfolios are making sales.

Anything is possible. You could be right there but what makes me think the buyer found it on bb is because I had the names for few weeks or almost two months and even when it got approved never published ( talking about the first sale , in fact , maybe I wouldnt have published if I didnt show to onw of BBs big sellers here who urged me to publish and less than a week it got sold)
So you say just a coincidence ? Maybe ...maybe not
It's also about statistical significance. If you had 5-10% of all inventory then we could surely conclude that your names are likely better. But if a far smaller number then I'd say it's either a low number of sales where just one more or less sale has an oversized impact on your sales rate, or just pure luck.here are my personal averages at BB
6.82% of inventory sold
over the past 12 months
its about the names
not about the owner
If a salesman can sell an Isuzu, they call sell anything.
but setting XXXX price for any domains which are worthless and confusing everyone

what I want to know is how many people (sellers that list their name) makes money from this marketplace?
BB domain sales statistic is about 2% or 800 name from 35000 domain..

10%? 20%? 5%? someone know?
If really 2% of domains get sold each year, it means you need in average 50 years to make a sale. That's not a great fluidity.
Now they have around 40k names.BB domain sales statistic is about 2% or 800 name from 35000 domain..

Now they have around 40k names.
And they make around 75 to 90 sales / month i.e. around 900-1100 / year.
never rely on statistics
you didn't fake yourself
