How is it possible for the President to do “Anything” without exercising executive order??? And even when he does that the Democratic Party throws it in the court system.

So how is he supposed to get funding through for our homeless people???

EVERYTHING that the President has tried to get passed gets blocked by the Democratic Party,

It isn’t the job of the executive branch to initiate legislation. That’s why we have the legislative branch.

If he didn’t keep coming up with executive orders that were unconstitutional they wouldn’t keep ending up in the court system.

I would bet good money that to this day he hasn’t read that fine document.

The GOP controlled senate hasn’t tried to pass anything to help the homeless. Neither has he. And talk about blocking? There is a crapton of bipartisan legislation that has passed the House, McConnell won’t allow the (GOP controlled) senate to vote on any of it.

So there’s the bottleneck.

Some form of healthcare or Medicare for all would benefit the homeless. Allowing insurance companies to deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions will make more people homeless.. We’re about the only industrialized country left where people who get sick can lose their home.

FYI nobody is taking your freedom or your constitutional rights. Stop listening to the scare stories from the (Fox? Internet?) cray cray machine and maybe talk to some real people and actually listen to what they are saying. Did you learn nothing from the “Obama death squad” rumors?

So was the President !!!!!!!! Elected by the by the people.

Yes, he was. Thanks to our antiquated electoral college system, he was elected by winning 4 states by slim margins. The total number of voters that tipped the scales would fit in a football stadium.

He lost the popular vote by approx. 3 million.

His first week on the job he made an unconstitutional executive order that created a total sh*tshow at the nation’s airports, harmed businesses and families.

Then he ordered a half assed military mission backed by incomplete data that killed a SEAL and destroyed an expensive helicopter ...for nothing. He didn’t even stay in the situation room when this went down.

Things went downhill from there. He’s dishonest, incompetent and a national disaster. If this was his reality tv show he would have fired himself long ago.

If another non democrat ran, would you vote for them?

absolutely i would vote for someone else, Per say had 2016 been H Clinton vs Obama , I would have voted Obama between the two, Had it been Bernie Sanders vs Condolezza Rice, I would have voted Condolezza Rice.

I take what is put in front of me and vote for what i think is best for our country. Due to the actions of the Democratic party since 2016 , I can no longer vote for anyone within the party as i have in the past

I consider myself and all Independent voters to be the "Equalizer" There are too many people who will vote for their party affiliation no matter who the candidate is, that is where us Independents come in without emotional party ties and equalize the vote. we aren't very popular people in politics and both parties only hope we vote for them, In the end we are able to make the difference in who gets elected without any emotional ties to any party.

I consider myself and all Independent voters to be the "Equalizer"

I’m also an independent voter, but in this case I side with the democrats (though I would consider a VIABLE independent candidate, as in one who had enough support to win.)

Our current POTUS is a lying kleptocrat and would-be authoritarian. He has weakened the country by (among other things) leaving important government roles unfilled, has been installing unsuitable “acting” officials (campaign donors and blatant nepotism) in their stead. Every decent person who was part of this administration has quit or was forced out. His ego keeps him from listening to his advisors, yet he listens to any toady who sucks up to him.

He kisses up to those who have a long standing agenda to harm the US and (whose actions in their own countries fly the in the face of everything the US flag stands for) and alienates our strongest allies. He has damaged our country’s standing in the world.

He hinted about extending his term past the two term limit, attacks the free press on a daily basis, basically attacks anyone and everyone who doesn't blindly agree with him, forgetting that a president is elected to serve the ENTIRE country. His foul mouth, lies and disrespect for others dishonors the Oval Office.

He came to this role with a decades long reputation for being a cheat, a con man and a grifter, with numerous claims of sexual misconduct and a lot of dodgy business ventures that FAILED. He bankrupted a casino at a time when area casinos were thriving, after earning the highest fine in history for disobeying anti money laundering regulations.

I’m not seeing any indication that he’s changed his ways or learned anything from his mistakes. (Except how to get money from other sources when US banks refuse to lend to you.)

He damaged hundreds of small businesses by not honoring contracts and not paying his bills. Hundreds. This isn’t about a few bad contractors - I know people whose family members were stiffed by him. He “wins” because they don’t have the legal resources to match him in court. BTW, he still hasn’t paid the inauguration bills, and probably won’t.

People who have spent time with him (I know folks in private equity who have spent days in conference rooms with him) say he’s very “charismatic” in person, and talks a good game, but all hat no cattle. (Also that he inappropriately hit on the younger, prettier women.)

At the end of the day, he doesn’t care about you, me or anyone else unless he personally has something to gain from it.

I see him as far and away the biggest threat to our country and our constitution.

Liberal activist and corrupt judges are getting overturned by supreme court. Even the 9th circuit is changing. Trump and McConnell's real legacy will be replacing liberal activist judges.

I would bet good money that to this day he hasn’t read that fine document.

Of course you would.

It's not the Senates job to fix San Francisco or Los Angels. "A crap ton of bipartisan legislation" is gas-lighting.

So there’s the bottleneck.
Senate voted on the Green New Deal to save the planet. Where were your democrats?

Some form of healthcare or Medicare for all would benefit the homeless. Allowing insurance companies to deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions will make more people homeless.. We’re about the only industrialized country left where people who get sick can lose their home.

All Trump supporters are racist. Abolish Ice, dismantle DHS, Nobody is illegal, we don't want open borders, abolish the electoral college, Kavanaugh is a rapist, believe all women, men who refuse to be alone with women are misogynist who can't control themselves.

Living and shitting on the sidewalk is a human right. The city gov will give you hypodermic needles so you can inject heroin but vaping is outlawed.

Don't prosecute shoplifting or vandalism, you can't leave anything in your car or someone will smash the window and take it.

Men can have abortions. Child drag queens are brave. Transvestites are role models. If a woman has a penis, her penis is a biologically female penis.

The American Flag is an offensive symbol of slavery. It's Trump's fault liberal cities are 3rd world shit-holes where drug addicts and mentally impaired fill the sidewalks.

Your party is bi-polar and you're a sheep.

Antiquated like our constitution?

In the next post Entitled will proclaim democrats don't want to destroy the republic or limit our freedom.

That's the thing about people who think they are enlightened. They feel they know all there is to know and have turned off their brains. The only truly enlightened people I have met will readily admit they know nothing.

BTW - with all the talk that people who criticize our government and elected officials apparently hate the United States and should just leave...

Trump himself has been critical of many other presidents, Obama in particular. He has been blasting the USA on foreign policy, spending and trearies for decades. And his 2016 campaign was one big slam on the United Staes: The country was hiorrible and he was the one who would make it “great again.”

Why was it ok for him to criticize Presidents and government policies? Why was it ok for him to run for office to change what he didn’t like but now it’s not ok for others to do that?
