Almost as good as the time @GILSAN owned you. Almost.

I think a 12 year old would grasp this better than you. What is wrong with you? Are you really that stupid? You again linked to an article saying the DOW closed at a record high. No it did not. We went over this many times already. Seriously, what is wrong with your brain?

--------
Then you quote me and then don't even respond to what I was asking.

Again, I asked you what were you thinking when you felt the need to put the word "white" in front of Republican. Your response:

"Apparently, you have a hard time paying attention. Maybe you should stick to posting dramatic #resistance stories instead of arguing."

Where in that did you answer the question? Were you hanging out on some White Pride/Nationalist site, getting hyped up, came over here to let everybody know you were white? What? It's a simple question.

-------------
Then I asked you another simple question:

"Will you apologize if it turns out she was telling the truth?"

You didn't answer it. You went on and on trying to make a case. Again, simple questions, that you seem to continually struggle with. What if it turns out she's been telling the thru, while you've been slandering her all this time. Will you apologize? These are really yes or no questions, I really try to keep this stuff as simple as possible for you.

Cruz got him say he fully supported the #2A. Next question for Beto opened with: You've said you want to ban assault weapons...

Ted Cruz vs. Beto O'Rourke is an interesting race.

Right now Cruz up 4.5 in polling - https://realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2018/senate/tx/texas_senate_cruz_vs_orourke-6310.html

but Beto is making moves.

And it seems like Beto is getting the best of him during tonight's debate - https://twitter.com/hashtag/TXSenateDebate?src=tren&lang=en

I would love to see Cruz go down this Nov. Really slimy dude.

Right now, Real Clear Politics polling:

Rethugs - 189
Toss Up - 40

This country deserves something better.

This conversation is not going anywhere, let's do something I am always changing my way of seeing things, but ... beware ... always from logical reasoning, so let's go step by step. let's start with this statement :

Trump : I could shoot somebody and not lose voters.

Please can you answer me -

What this means for you ?

In what position does it place you?

Good question, I'll think about over the weekend.

So now we just take immigrant brown kids from their parents (and lose track of who belongs to who) and plan to house a massively increasing number of them in detention centers.

It's called enforcing the law. We could keep those families together if not for liberal activist and liberal judges that have hamstrung our immigration laws.

BTW, if you show up for asylum at a border station instead of sneaking into the country, you get a court date and are released.

Opinion. They were humanitarian measures that saved lives.

I wouldn't put it past 45 to drop a nuke on someone.

Not my own, but the opinion of many economist.

‘Proud to stand with Brett’! Video of Kavanaugh’s female colleagues and friends spells TROUBLE for Left’s smear campaign

That's a lot of women !!

Show attachment 98115

I love this video of all the hundred plus women who have worked with or for Judge Kavanaugh. It's real, honest experience not the fake hollywood #metoo activisim.

Charges by CB Ford were false which is why she refused to give a statement to the Judaical Committee. Feinstein has some explaining, apologizing todo.

This is stupid. You could make a video of women Trump hasn't sexually assaulted, or a video of kids saying Trump never wanted to date them, or find underage girls he hasn't walked in on, doesn't change the reality of the ones he has.

This came out today

I guess you didn't see this:
No. I've explained why I don't believe her. It's not personal. But by all means, please try to prove ANYONE assaulted CB Ford.

Doesn't know when it happened.
Doesn't know where it happened.
Doesn't how she got to the party.
Doesn't know how she got home from the party.
Was drinking.
Didn't tell anyone for for 30+ years.
Named contemporaneous witnesses say she's wrong.
Story has "evolved".
Was eager to testify.
Then refused to testify.
Added conditions to testify.

Political game. She's libeling an honorable person for politics and money.

Turns out your gal Ford was faking the whole time.

You don't sound bitter at all. You should go see a Michael Moore movie to make yourself feel better.

I was sexually assaulted. Here’s why I don’t remember many of the details.

I never told anyone for decades — not a friend, not a boyfriend, not a therapist, not my husband when I got married years later.........

Just saving this:

She's not going to testify.

Today she was busy for a few hours talking to the FBI about the death threats she has been getting from Republicans. She's also had to leave her home.

Another heavy teenage drinker?

If she was going to testify, she would have done it.

She [ Patti Davis ] Struggled With Drug Addiction and Considered Her Playboy Photoshoot Her ‘Victory Lap’ Back Into Health
https://heavy.com/news/2016/03/patr...reer-husband-children-playboy-age-bio-photos/

Patti Davis has a long history of drug and alcohol addiction. CB Ford' was at a party with alcohol.

Patti Davis can remember who, where and when she was assaulted. CB Ford can't remember when, where, how she got to the party or how she got home.

Let me point out the obvious: It's plausible someone wouldn't talk about being assaulted, it's not likely they wouldn't remember any details besides the identity of the accused.

They’re both mistreatment of human beings and both wrong.
Cutting in front of someone in line and beheading someone are both mistreatments and wrong as well. That doesn't make them comparable.

QUOTE="enlytend, post: 6905578, member: 38378"] Taking those kids from their parents and on top of that failing to have plans or adequate records to reunite them was an atrocity[/QUOTE]

No, that's not an atrocity. Not everything that ia unjust, incompetent or wrong is an atrocity. Calling it that is hyperbole.

It's not an irrational fear to enforce borders. It's a responsibility. If someone chooses to violate a border, they are normally restrained and returned to where they came from, though many countries jail them. To claim that is equivalent to throwing innocent citizens into prison camps requires a complete refusal to recognize obvious distinctions.

Feel free to just say you believe borders are a human rights violation. At least a case can be made there, and we could have an honest discussion that might be interesting and educational for everybody. I get quickly tired of disingenuous discussions where the truth takes a back seat to politics.

Even ABC’s Cokie Roberts Wonders: Kavanaugh Accuser ‘Playing Footsie With Dems
Christine Blasey Ford has either developed a case of cold feet or she’s playing footsie with the Democrats. Neither one of those options is useful if she wants to stop Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.

But she made the choice to reveal her identity, knowing that it would upend her life. Now, she needs to tell her story to the people who will decide whether Brett Kavanaugh ascends to the Supreme Court -- the members of the United States Senate.

Borders are fine. I’m in favor of robust border security .

Taking kids away from their parents and losing track of them is not. If someone came here with kids, there’s no excuse for deporting them without those kids. And yes, that’s an atrocity. I believe even those Japanese families were kept together, no?

Crossing the border in a non-designated place is a misdemeanor. Show me one other misdemeanor where offenders are treated that harshly.

Even though that practice was discontinued, the government, which missed their deadline for reuniting, is not the one making an effort to make right what they screwed up.

So why don’t those with good intent cross at “designated areas” to begin with? Because it’s not safe. I don’t know what the answer is, but maybe if Mr. “Art of the Deal” wasn’t so busy pissing our neighbors off, we could negotiate something that would incentivize Mexico to beef up security at or near the legal crossing points on their side.

Those seeking asylum should be treated with respect, compassion and dignity.

Requests should be processed in a reasonable period of time. If there aren’t sufficient resources to do that, perhaps instead of expanding holding times and building bigger detention centers, we need more resources. Though I’m sure the two private prison companies (coincidentally both big campaign donors) getting well compensated per deum per person would disagree.

I’m also not in favor of abolishing ICE, but I think it needs more accountability, and oversight and is a good candidate for reform. If for nothing else than to rein in their financial mismanagement. They’re constantly over budget and this is being enabled by silently shuffling funds to them from other agencies.

Though it was a nice carrot to dangle for his lower IQ supporters, I believe we can have strong borders without the stupid wall. That money is better spent elsewhere.

Tariffs will lead to higher prices - wow who saw that coming? Dollar stores will be affected too.
Tariffs could mean a 2M drop in car sales and cost 715,000 jobs, warns auto industry group
"Retaliation by China to tariffs already in place has made U.S. auto exports uncompetitive,” said one industry insider.
https://www.nbcnews.com/business/au...ales-cost-715-000-n911411?cid=sm_npd_nn_fb_ma

Target is 'deeply troubled' over Trump's tariffs, says prices to rise on everything from playpens to backpacks, as retailers push back
  • A coalition of roughly 300 retailers — including Kohl's, L.L. Bean, the Gap, Macy's and Under Armour — signed on to a letter strongly opposing the tariffs.
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/21/tar...er-trumps-tariffs-as-retailers-push-back.html

Walmart letter warns tariffs will raise prices and tax American businesses
Should the tariffs go into effect, Walmart customers will face cost increases for essential items like car seats, cribs, backpacks, hats, pet products and bicycles,” Walmart’s letter says.

The company also said that tariffs would put a commitment to purchase an additional $250 billion in products that support American jobs in jeopardy.

“For lower-income families, a 25% tax on these items would be a serious burden on household finances,” Walmart wrote. “Walmart and our suppliers will pay the cost of increased duties, which are simply taxes levied on products at the border. As a result, either consumers will pay more, suppliers will receive less, retail margins will be lower, or consumers will buy fewer products or forego purchases altogether.”

I believe even those Japanese families were kept together, no?
They were American families. They had everything taken away - their farms, their businesses, livelihoods built up over decades, they had committed no crime and they were imprisoned for years. The comparison is insulting to them. And, again, they were Americans, not Japanese.

Borders are fine. I’m in favor of robust border security

That's too bad. We could have had a good conversation there. I don't like the idea of borders at all, or of restricting the free movement of people. In theory. In practice, we have a ways to go before we can allow anyone to enter anywhere. The least we could do though is to eliminate the passport system, which is designed to keep people from leaving countries.

Yeah, blame the woman.
It's their fault when they get raped and abused right ? Either they were drunken, or misbehaving so they deserved it. The male abuser is always right.

They were American families.
Sorry - I know that. Americans of Japanese descent, was what I meant.

And yes it was horrible that everything was taken from them, but just as bad that these people had their children taken from them. Some of the ones deported without them may never see their kids again.

You missed my point. I'm not blaming anyone, I don't believe Brett Kavanaugh assaulted Christine Blasey Ford.

JB compared Patti Davis to Christine Blasey Ford. The headline mentioned Patti is Ronald Reagan's daughter to give her credibility. Pattie, was an alcoholic and drug addict.

PD remembers where, when, who, events before and after. CBF can't remember anything before, after, when or where.

Weird how none of you have any concern for Brett Kavanaugh or his family. One vague accusation that contemporaneous witnesses all deny happened, threatens his GOOD reputation and his career.

P.S. There is a video floating around of BOTH CB Ford's lawyers taking about stopping Kavanaugh, It was recorded shortly after he was nominated.

Every time Sen. Grassley delays, the left wing radicals get louder.
