My questions were:

If you think that you aren't a failing loser experienced domainer why you answer me with this?

Who speaks to you???

and your answer was:

make sure to renew your premium .rodeo domains for 10 years in advance the registry might steal them from you if you don't :xf.wink:

You always run away from difficult questions with answers out of context... Very sad. Very very sad...:xf.frown:
I ask you "how old are you?" and you answer me that your sister bought a car... :xf.grin:

but I do not make you any more questions... do not worry... :xf.wink:

I think your 3L.rodeo renewals are approaching and I hear the registry wants $500/year and to answer your question: no I do not think it would be a good idea to drop them.

as travel.agency got developed into a nice, albeit a bit minimalist site(check), it might be on the market again, perhaps you want to invest there instead? Huge ROIs ahead I hear and renewals are just $500/year.

$500 is nothing if we make the comparison with the .car renewal: $2500... :xf.grin:
$500 is a lot for you after so many years of domaining??? If this is the case go elsewhere to invest your money if you have money... Courage :xf.wink:

@dordomai I have almost 1000 new gTLDs in my portfolio and I have not even 1 name where renewal is higher then 35 USD..most of them are actually much cheaper!

So new gTLDs does not necessarily means one need to pay USD 500 renewals..you can, if you like the particular name and have enough money, but you can have also great new gTLD names very cheaply..providing that you at least more less know what you are doing :)

Prepare your mind for the localized (idn) versions of the .com .net . org .ngtlds and beyond.

Obviously there are lots of good new gTLDs for $ 20 and I have several but now I'm joking with this @dordomai that he began to talk to me... (Attention: @dordomai does not think that he is a failing loser experienced domainer but he does not know why he answered me when I spoke of failing loser domainers... :xf.grin:)

I heard travel.agency is on the market again, wouldn't that be something for you Wass? Ultra-premium, dirt cheap, hard not to make money, easily future 7 figure asset.*

*Real world investment performance may vary and asset may turn out to be digital pigeon sh*t. If you have any doubts as to the merits of an investment, you should seek advice from an independent domain investment advisor.

Wass I think you've beaten that horse to death now.
I know you think it's a brilliant insight and there maybe some truth in it. But repeating 20 times and always the answer to every point of view from here on in.
Try to contain yourself and not answer this post with the same.

In case you did not get it. I was answering in general, as why would someone be afraid of something .horse? As if that made any sense.

Dordomain I hope that when you finally start to invest to new gTLDs you are not going to buy names with 1k renewals just to feel like a pro :) That is not the way to go for domain reseller.

At the moment not so simple anymore to find category killers for reg fee (I admitt, practically impossible), but you can still buy them from investors who invested with intention of quick flip, and some of them are now letting go their good names cheaply, as they did not budget for more then 1-2 years of holding. They thought they will flip immediately, which is of course not the case, it logically can not be. So there is still a chance to get in now :)

Domainers don't even practice what they preach. How many are using a new extension for a real-world business, let alone an extension priced at $500/year. Seriously.
Domainers need to go out more.

Wow so many names I feel for you. You'll need to make thousands in sales just to cover renewal fees. Easier said than done. Even the majority of .com portfolios are not profitable and not sustainable.

Domainers are in the wrong business. At least FS figured out that the best way to profit is to be on top of the food chain and own the money printing machine. But even he was dead wrong.
