Kate was right, the domains are the most undervalued assets of all time. A business has at least $5000 profit monthly. Can't spend the profit for 4 months on a name kept for 10 years? Average-good names should not be priced bellow $20,000. This is true for ngtlds and for coms too. A business which understands the value of a good domain will pay $20,000 instead of $2000. One which doesn't won't pay more than $20 to register a name anyway. This is Mike Mann thinking. Let's all rise the prices!

I had over 300 .online but I am left with 30 as I type this. I choose not to be carried away by a registry's sale that is aimed at gluing domainers to some junks in the name of ''investments''.

It is a long domain.
In my opinion, 50-100$ would be a very good sale for this domain.
I personally wouldn`t invest on it.

You are seeing things in black and white. There are a lot of factors that influence. Not every business needs a $20k domain investment. I'd not consider buying a $20k domain for my business with $5k revenue per month. I'd do that only after I'd be more than certain that domain would increase the revenue

If domainiq is correct this domain was not sold by a domainer but by the Radix registry themselves as it shows them as being the owner in 2015 and doesn't show any other owner since that date, so unless i'm missing something yet again another massive sale to the registry not the domainer i.e. middle man.

Isn't this unfair practice? Where registrars picked up the nicest names and released crap for unsuspecting/ignorant registrants?? Where is the fairness in this game?

Agreed. Business often isn't fair unfortunately.
