Many of my friend suggested me to post this on namepros so others will less likely to be scamed by shane.

So on 2016-09-26 and 2016-09-27 he bought 374 cvcv.in names and 471 cvcv.in names all together 845 .in names together. (these are random cvcv.in)
together he paid me on paypal 5805 usd.

I pushed the domain to him, then everything is fine. the deal was made through whatsapp chat.
deal closed.
then I saw him selling them on .in markect group, flipped some for higher price.

until 27the decenmber when i log in to my paypal to make another purchase, i see paypal refunded 5805 back to him, then i look up my email, i saw paypal disput which i completed missed.
buyer claim reason: NOT AS DESCRIBED! (this is after he sold and transfer out some of those)

I did not know paypal had this 3 months rules where buyer can claim the money back, and becuase i do not log on paypal so often and get xxx amount of emails every days, so i missed the window that i could have argued with paypal. but well lesson learned.

Some infomation of shane so other can avoid being scamed by him

good news is after I provided all the evidence to the registrar, the registrar moved the remaining (ones he did not sold or transfer out) to my account, so at least i got something back.

Becuareful when using paypal, and becuareful when you trade any domain that was processed by shane.

During the process of getting the unsold domains by shane, I had great help from .in whatsapp group, so special thx who provide information and also special thx to shiva , kemji, alexa and indy who tried to contact shane for me, but he went dark, not picking his cell phone, does not respond back on whatsapp nor linkedin.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I hear what OP is saying, but I severely doubt the validity of this.

Human beings are EXTREMELY one sided when it comes to presenting their side of the story.

One day someone could post something about one of you, and you should hope that someone takes a second to say a few positive things about you based on your previous merit and rep, without 'waiting to hear more'.

Shane has been against this type of behavior and condemned it strongly from people like Adam Dicker and even when the management of NP may have not been so forthcoming (in his opinion).

So I'm going to strongly doubt the validity of this and not take the same position of others in the peanut gallery who are trying to see who can get the most giggles out of this first.

@12no3

Out of 845 domains how many did you recover back from the register?

im actualyl quite amazed his was able to recover from his registrar! good on him though!

I remember specifically askign godaddy manager once about the same kind of scenario.. ie: I sell a domain to someone then they get their paypal money back and I can prove that paypal refunded the money to them. and I asked if godaddy would help me get back my domain assuming its on their registrr.. and they said no.. they do not get involved in 3rd party dealings and decisions.. ie: paypal.

@12no3 may I ask you which registrar helped you recover them? it is useful to know which registrar does more justice to domainers in this way. thanks.

I understand people have difficulty sometimes, so I actually waited 20 days to post this. and during these 20 days me and some people who also know him tried to contact him, at least give me an explaination.

In the future I will not be using paypal for any amount :)

1: shane has not responded in all possible channels by me or people who helping to me contact him.(for 20 days not responding to anyone anything, but apear to be active on some social media platforms)

2: after purchasing it, he sold and transfered out part of the few hundreds cvcv.in. and he claim to paypal to refund all money he sent.

3: why waited 3months to claim the money, if he is not criminal?

and his namepros account are banned I heard, not a good sign, i wish he have his side of story.
even it is he need urgent money for xmas, or anything.

But this wont stop my domaining passion :)

How many exactly did he transfer out before the refund occurred?

EDIT:

Nevermind, just saw your above post.

Why do people still use PayPal. They've been scamming for years - it took me 3 years to get them off my back because they can't/don't bother to verify accounts properly. Their 6 months confirmation time for payments, and their support for scammers would put me off using them. I won't use Escrow any more now that they support PreyPal. There are loads of payment services out there. If you use PP and lose your money, then you've only got yourself to blame, there are enough warning about them all over the net.
Let's say you won/sold an auction on NP right now. Exactly how would you send/get money? Are you really going to spend $30 on a wire transfer for a $10 domain? No.

And do you think everyone on NP has bitcoins? No.

And that's why people still use preypal. Too bad not many people use TWO paypal accounts. One for money going in, and one for money staying in.

there are 42 names he transfered out which i did not recover, but many more are sold but not transfered out. at the moment these 803 names are in my account for the time being. but I do believe there are more victim in this event.
Becuase those names he sold but not transfered out is also in my account.

Also worth noticing is when he send 5805 , i got less thant that, because the paypal fees, but when paypal refund the money to him, they took away whole 5805.

So i lost money + domains

yes sadly... when you lose claim on paypal.. they do not pay back the fee either and its on you.. its such a shame you didn't get around to those emails from paypal.. this would have been such an easy win for you for the dispute!

but the question remains.. whats any buyer doing filing not as described on domains you delivred exactly as promised and described.. and 3 months after getting them. thats just wrong.

actually in this particular case paypal doesn't have much to do with any of this.

in this case its all about buyer filing dispute when he shouldn't have filed it.. and seller forgetting to check his emails on time and therefore not participating in dispute.. and losing it by default... you will always lose every dispute.. with every company. if you fail to participate in it and present your side of story. its pretty much that simple. cheers.

Perhaps list the 42 domains he transferred out in case people get offered them in a deal...

Well if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck it's normally a duck. But I'll wait for more facts, that is if he can, or will reply..

himself transfered out these domains i posted, and now on his friends blog, he claim he can not transfer out domains i sold to him, well, if that was the truth, how he manage those 42 transfer out? magic?

also, the registrar allow any transfer, and even he had difficulty on transfering out, he could asked for help. I see him an old domainer, not a new domainer, so he should not have any issue with transferring out.

if he believe he is right, he think he is legit, why all the hiding? and not responding to me on whatsapp and other people for 20+ days?

This claim by him is funny....

"I would have liked to contact you directly but I didn't have your contact information."

Well..yeah..right...

I'll side with the giraffe, since shane has been banned on NP, and well that shows fault, imho.

so which payment service do you use for smaller amounts?

So per Davids blog, transaction canceled and all domains returned none sold.

Dispute filed because domains could not be transferred out, no reply from the OP.

Who is this register that can't transfer out a domain at all?

Shane had a pro rating here at NP, did he not check this out?

I don't see how a register can't transfer out a domain to another register that supports .in, confused now.

Something is not jiving here...First the domains were not transferred because they were not supported. "The portfolio in question was registered at a registrar in which the ccTLD .in transfers were not supported. When this was realized by Shane, it ultimately rendered the domains useless to him for obvious reasons."....................And then, "While the seller claims the registrar returned the domains due to his proof, the fact remains that the transfer was authorized by Shane himself."..............Certainly we need more details and clarification with this situation.

1: himself transfered 42 out plus sold more than that to different members. and I gurantee there is no transfer out problem at all.
2: I contacted the registrar and submited the proof, secured those are still not transfered away.
it is NOT authorized by shane himself, and his account is suspended on this registrar (told by staff there).
