Very strange b/c I just purchased another 4 and they all worked.

Might be I will try to call Godaddy Support using my SkypeOut and see what I can do...

Maybe because you are not in the US. I wouldn't waste my time calling. There isn't anything they will do. It says right on the Groupon, 1 per GD account.

Nice - I haven't had such luck with coupons in the past. Perhaps Groupon is different. Glad it worked out.

RENEW Privacy coupon??

Anyone know how to renew a dot com with privacy? Is there coupon for that? All I can do right now is use BACON3 and that takes care of the domain but the privacy is still 9.99 per year. Any way to get both down in price?

Probably more cost effective to cancel the privacy and rebuy it with gdbba547 ($3.99)

Now I have tried to go back and purchase more groupons, but after entering my credit card information and click confirm - it shows me the thank you page but no groupons given

Credit Card companies told em Groupon has not charged the card. Just wondering what they are doing...

not a chance (haha)

the best you'll do is this amazing Groupon deal... if you use the entire purchase for just renewals, it works out to about $3.25 each name renewed (on the $25 purchase).... them some bargain prices.

...am hoping that GD and Groupon become 'besties' because this deal is a major money saver.

Well, looks like all good things must end.

Multiple Groupons + $1.17 registrations and transfer-ins = insane savings.

Looks like the dollar codes are gone. If you have a Groupon, the $4 / $5 codes are still great.

Not sure why it didn't work at your end. May be not geo restricted because I am from Pakistan so it must be allowed for mostly all countries...

Renewal Question

Does anyone know why I cant renew a domain name at Godaddy? I bought the domain in 2012 and paid for 10 years. It expires in 2022.

I am trying to renew it but it doesnt allow me to. What's also interesting is that I have other domains that expire in 2017 and can only renew them for 5 years (to 2022). Still others that expire in 2014, I can only renew up to 8 years -- again expiring in 2022.

Silly question but I gotta ask: Is there something with dot com domains and the year 2022?

Just wondering why I cant renew a domain name indefinitely if I wish to do so.

You can renew a domain maximum of 10 years from today's date.

many $1.17 codes seem to have ended

gofa2001sa , gofac015 , gofay001 still work , but it goes to the "unable to process , please call" message (probably because I used a code of the same promotion or because of geo)

you might want to try them if they work for you ... or if the cost of a call to customer service to process the coupon code worths the discount

the $2.17 and $3.12 codes (mentioned in this post) seem to work fine
