Hello everyone,

I've been using a domain drop-catching service named CatchService.com for about six months and would like to share with you my experience using it.

Regarding the service itself, I think it was fine, I've had some success catching some good looking .com domains, Pricing was also reasonable.

All the past months were fine and whenever i face any sort of issue i reach out to the owner privately as he's a respected member of this amazing community. ( @Riz M. ) Until today, He managed to catch two domains for me and during checkout i learned that PayPal is no more an option to pay so i reached out and asked about that matter.

He confirmed that PayPal is no more an option and he only have two other options which I'm not so comfortable with, So i said fine, I will think it over and let him know where I'm at.

Surprisingly he was like, Think it over? Are you going to do board meeting for $36? ( Price of the current orders ) Which I'm not quite getting this line, Are you saying like you've reached a certain level of success that $36 is no longer a number for you? And the whole thing was about the payment method for the current orders and any potential future orders so i don't even understand why you said this. He followed up with : Anyways I'm just cancelling your orders and please do not place anymore orders. Before even i respond he went ahead and deleted my account from the site.

Poor move sir and so unprofessional. Nothing personal and I'm taking this public because you're a business, And this is my feedback for it.

My experiences with Riz have been professional.

From what I know - he enhances our community.

Some are energy vampires.
Others are energy multipliers

Riz multiplies what he can for the benefit of the domain name niche IMHO




The original grievance could be resolved in a way that satisfies both people.

Ultimately Riz has a point that if the OP is wishy washy about paying for catches because the Paypal option is gone then cancelling a slew of backorders makes business sense and plugs energy leaks before they happen.


And as for everyone dragging unrelated matters up to add to the cesspool - this is unhelpful.

Trust me, it's not worth it :ROFL:.

Take a few breaths, get some fresh air, consider the possibility that you could be at least partially responsible for this instead of creating a conspiracy where everyone is out to get you, and then make things right with your customers.

After reflection, if you realize that there are things you could have handled better, it's good to acknowledge that and to humble yourself.

But if you can honestly look back at this thread and you don't think there is anything you could have done better, then maybe it's best to move on.

Nobody is questioning Riz trade experience here. In question, from the beginning was his his attitude and spoiled replies. The OP didn't said that he can't pay, he was just thinking about what's his best way to do it....but without having time to reply, his account was closed( not the backorders suspended) without nobody letting him know and without any explanation afterwards. About the replies here, there is no point to even talk. That looks like professionalism and energy in a pure form.

I didn't knew about ur services before, I were a potential new user until I read all the other pages of this thread.

At the beginning, when he didn't replied to OP, I was thinking, that's a smart move, when you are guilty, the best way to do it is to apologize or stay quiet, it will be buried sooner than later. But when he started replying and replying with a bad attitude, that was a huge mistake. Now try to imagine Margot from BB replying with this attitude or any other owners of services. They will cut off even the last path for the customers to use them.

i applied for account closure.. they looks so happy if you want to see more then see @LUP shared this all conversation in my another clean thread to defame me on purpose. he is literally most happy guy in namepros and celebrating now.
i wish him goodluck and be happy

This is the second thread where I was saying something about you or to you, check the namepros history and let me know if I forgot something. I didn't even replied in the beginning, the thread is almost a week old and you would have been wise not to reply to it, but looks like you weren't inspired. Let's see how your replies will affect your startups....we will talk again in 1-2-3 years time and see the result.

I like you Riz, respect what you have achieved, done some small business with you in the past, admire the portfolio you have put together and appreciate the sales you have shared here....

But there is a saying which is very apt in this case....

But when you reply and your replies are aggressive, spoiled and with bad attitude, that will just provoke everybody. The good part is that at least everybody knows you better, the bad part is that I don't know if knowing you better will be good for you.

I would not put this on the service or the seller but domainers like Adam Strong have had their PayPal shutdown, and sometimes when you get micro payments even as small as $20 from some watched Country, it can set off a red flag.

It’s not as if they removed it by choice, PayPal doesn’t give you much recourse, but don’t talk bad about a good business because of something PayPal did. We all know Riz is one of the nicest guys in domaining, and his service is top notch. You can still use credit card, and crypto, it’s 2021 buy a prepaid credit card at the local store, not a big deal.

Thanks for your input and again, My issue was NOT PayPal, In fact, There was no issue at all ! I was just getting a confirmation about it and i told him i was not so comfortable with the other options but i will think about it and let him know my next step, That's all i did ! Could you spot anything wrong in here?

That's the short story and he cannot prove me wrong.

I had nothing wrong with this guy and it's not the first time i talk to him or do business with him. But for this time, Do you think his reaction was normal or what he did is ethical?

I was expecting something like, "Okay, Sounds good" Not hey I'm cancelling your orders and do not place any more orders. What kind of business does that? Kicking a customer out in such a way, And for what reason?

It's up to you to handle this situation and find a way to regain trust of members.

If you are not so comfortable to deal with your customers requests, you should hire someone else to manage this for you, just sayin...

I've seen Riz's not so attractive side, so I wouldn't be vouching for internet acquaintances.

Pretty clear from OP's chat with Riz about the matter that Riz was being unprofessional and vindictive for some reason.

These 'whiny energy vampires' are the one's who help namepros stay clean from bad characters,( I can give you some other examples, for members with 10+ years badge and over 1000 positive reviews, for who vouched lot's of pro members and which in the end their characters were exposed, some banned.) It's easy always just the take the bright side and not to see the dark side.

I have never used his service and can't talk about it, but from what OP has been saying, is that paypal was an option and they cut it off without letting anybody know. When, in the middle of payment, you find out that paypal is not an option anymore it's normal to think if the other option offered are good for you or you just give up in using the service. The bad part is his reaction, if I think twice if I'm gone use the service because paypal was not an option anymore and you just gone close my account, if that what happened, than it's just childish and unprofessional. It's like going to a supermarket which say they accept your debit card and at the checkout they are saying that they don't accept it anymore, when you think if you wan't to pay by cash or other option, they will tell you that you are banned from shopping there, just because you have thought twice about the payment options.
