How do DAN distribute domains among its staff as domain experts. I have noticed my ordinary domains have karam, edward or omid as domain experts while my somewhat decent domains have @LaszloSchenk as Domain expert. Simon's name appears in only two domains, one of which had 8k offer in the past. So is it just my thought process or DAN gives better domains to senior guys while giving the rest to juniors or its a random process ???

just return to the previou setting of dan where the broker window is not even showing. then you can negotiate all your own leads.. which imo is always best. and u will no longer worry yourself with dilemas like these.

settings
forsale page
check: Installments (old model which includes the Make Offer option)
meet the seller: "don't show anything"

then u negotiate all offers on your own. and the box for broker does not show on lander.

also if u uncheck:
Host your for sale pages on DAN.COM
then buyes will not see the chat widget in bottom corner either.

i disabled them all. so now buyer just makes offer or bin .. to me.

How do DAN distribute domains among its staff as domain experts. The display of these account managers is completely random. As a domain owner, you personally broker all your deals regardless of the account manager displayed on the landing page. Potential buyers simply see one account manager as a reference point in case of any questions. It is merely applied to inspire trust rather than these account managers being the brokers for your domains.

Hi @LaszloSchenk I am forwarding all my domains to DAN landers. And i do have a public profile to show all my domains. But this 500 domains restriction is an obstacle to show my entire portfolio. I hope you would fix it asap.

I was using Escrow.com for years then moved to DAN while I still think Escrow.com is the best ( I just did have a one time problem with then and was fixed after few days or one week or more maybe ) .

What I dont like with DAN and maybe I will move out of them too , very soon is when I need to push a domain to their Godaddy account sometimes they keep asking me to change something like the email , the name the phone number ...etc . I see no logic in this part even I did read Godaddy is going to hide all of the whois information from the domains .

The other thing which made me to start thinking to move out , Karam was asking me today at 17:35 or so ( I live in Belgium same time as NL ) . He was asking me to fill in all of contact information which I did even if I find it ZERO logic . I did it with less than 5 min . then he disappeared like he is not interested at all to end the deal today . Normally everyone work until 6 PM .

That the most I hate to do with any company . I was moved from one to other because of the behavior . I was waiting a lot of days for them to confirm the payment and today when they did . He just hold it for no reason for other day .

I think I will be out so soon after this deal either if he will finish it or not ( I dont really care about it anymore ) .

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are processing the transactions in the best way we can. However, we are always limited to the restrictions or processes imposed by other registrars. At this point, you state that the escrow department keeps asking to change details. Rather as you can see below the situation is explained by Karam. He notified you that he could not accept the account change as certain details were missing. In order to ensure both you and the buyer will not experience any delays, he informs you that these details are required as otherwise the transfer could not be accepted.

As you can see Karam already explained to you that this is not due to the fact that we want your details but we simply need it in order to conclude your transaction. We cannot control the limitations other registrars have but rather have to cope with it and will guide our users through it.

Regarding your second point, we are operational until 18:00 indeed. However, we have hundreds of transactions we need to process on a daily basis. If a response is given at 17:35 it could happen that a response is given early the next day. As you can see above the response was given within 15 minutes after Karam started his day which is quite fast in my opinion. It is not the case at all that Karam nor any other representative does not care about the transactions. However, besides your transaction, our representative has to attend to other transactions as well.

Lets play some game here , You know I was plan to let it go and give you other chance by using DAN . Then If I will have a problem I will move out without even speaking here or there .

As I said there is no logic to keep asking me changing my information while thats was not my main point why I get a bit angry or feeling sad from using your systems .

I mean I am not saying anything about the fake human you keep showing them in each page as they are online and working ( while in real life all of them just a normal bots ) and you just work until 18:00 as you said by yourself too .

I am replying here because you did make a screenshots , but hiding my time of replying !! . ( good try from your side , I really like how you keep hiding and fake things , but sure not the working I mean you never scam with payment or so , so far as I know ) .

My first replied in the photo was @ Apr 22, 17:34 ( just 2 min ) .

The second replied was @ Apr 22, 17:39 after ( 7 min ) where I said I see it as a not logic point , but I did it anyway and I was already pushing the name . ( there screenshot is here too ) .

IF you want to play the screenshots thing then please always put it full or dont put it anything at all . Dont use the ones support your point and view and leave the rest of it as hiding .

Karam or whoever was replying today just for you to put the screenshots here and was no logic in his reply about the behavior or why he delay me for today in the morning . My main problem was this the behavior and the delay time and not the unlogic of asking me to change this or that while its still annoying , but I didn't mind to do it .

There is ZERO logic here in your reply , its just full of bad behavior from your side . I have before 2 deals in your system and the replying were very fast . I wasn't delay in my reply ! . ( first one was after 2 min second one was after 7 min ) . even if you have millions of transactions , the system he used will give him a notification very fast and was still having around 30 mint to end the deal . The deal started in Apr 11 and the guy did make the payment in time , its was just waiting for the payment to be in your bank or whatever . My point here I was waiting form 11 April until 22 April , so this transaction should finish as fast as possible .

If you always sending people at 17:00 or after this time then you only finish the deal the next day then my advice dont send any of us anything until the next day .

You know your company have a lot of points to be improved and first take out the fake online humans ( bots) , you keep showing in each landing page after 18:00 . Since without our traffic your company will go for ZERO work , my advice as a customer to improve your behavior with any of us . I think you already know I own more than 2020 domains and so far until today your website ( company ) got more than 5,735 visit from my domains . Try always to be good and say sorry when its needed .

no market or escrow is perfect, but i personally would take dan over escrow.com hands down!!!

imo what happens post sale on dan is really well handled. and one of best postsale processes anywhere... it is fast and reliable both for buyer and seller payout etc... not much to fix there.

so putting aside the 500 domain folio bug they're working hard to fix now, i think right now dan has these major issues:

1...lack of exposure to find our domains directly on their market, without sale landers... making dan essentially a sale lander company.. unlike sedo, gd autions etc... so doing something in this direction would be great.. so people start getting offers from their market domains directly. i think now such people are almost non existent.

2... doing somehting about unpaid sales, of which there are more on dan than elsewhere that I deal with... and give there are more of them on dan than elehwere, it does basically make it a dan specific issue. so it'd need a dan specific fix. hopefully there are some fixes avaialble to reduce the number. its never possible to eliminate nonpayers completely.

I dont like escrow.com, they accept only sending USD and dont accept transferwise, that mean more fees for customers outside the US
I sold hundeds of domains with dan and it works like a charm most of the time.

I am interested to write anything in the thread anymore , but since I wasnt really the one who started it . I just wrote what did happen with me . Thats all and as a customer I have to do it here or in the email or at any platform . however I did say the same in the chat first and since I didnt get any reply I did add what I want here in the forum . ( as I know a lot of companies care about the forums reviews ) .

Anyway Laszlo I already forward all of my domains to bodis.com landing page and I will send them back to Godaddy . I don't really care about the fees too much and I was curious to try DAN after I got an offer up there which ended to a deal .

My last words what you sent me is a very bad as a support or whatever position you are in the company even if I am wrong which I am not .

I will not come back here to this thread and everyone is free to see it as he wants from his view .

The usage of highly insulting curse words rather than having a professional conversation is not tolerated and will no longer be tolerated. I dont like escrow.com, they accept only sending USD and dont accept transferwise, that mean more fees for customers outside the US
I sold hundeds of domains with dan and it works like a charm most of the time.

escrow.com isn't even optimized for domains or domainers.
their payout options for non usa clients are basically just bank wire. no paypal. no nothing.

between dan and escrow, when seling domains, its a no brainer.. dan is winner hands down.

Unfortunately this is normal for Dan now, their staff replying in chat with hours breaks.

I stopped using their landers already a few months ago because of this degraded support. A few days ago i tried to use them as a buyer, faced some problem, but got the same lazy/slow attitude from the support, now as a buyer. Now i also know how buyers on Dan are being treated.

I just made an account today with DAN as a SEDO alternative. I think I have to officially say good bye to SEDO. It's bad for business on Sedo's part that they do not email sellers when there is an offer on your domain anymore.

I don't really know what is going on. I have received 3 leads this month on Dan on 3 different domains. They all made an offer for each of the domains they wanted to buy. I negotiated with them to a price and agreement was reached.
The problem now is that none of them made payment despite several reminders sent. After 2 weeks the transaction had to be canceled.
What could be wrong? Were they having issues making payment? Or was it bots?
I am very sad about this.
