The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
As a registrar, @Rob Monster of Epik. For catering to the bottom of the pyramid.

Also many domainers here. For sharing, guiding and for being good in general.

I like a lot of people but respect just a few. @Bob Hawkes comes to mind for possibly being the most humble and friendly guy on this forum.

Yun Ye / UltSearch (Ultimate Search). One of the pioneers. Why? Because, even though starting a business and making money is an art, leaving the business on-time is more hard... And he managed to achieve both - "cashed out" in early 200x (sold to Marchex, the deal was worth many millions).

Also, Michael McCallister and Michael Goldfarb - for building almost ideal registrar+marketplace (NameSilo)... So sorry that Brisio Innovations acquired NameSilo and stopped development

There are many many people who inspire me and I thank you all for the welcoming, valuable and fun community that you maintain at NamePros! Within the industry, I respect many many people - some have been in it for a decade or more, and some just months. If I started mentioning names, I would for sure miss out names that should be on it.

That said, while always dangerous to mention one person, I think what Raymond Hackney,@equity78, does for the domain community, and NamePros, deserves special mention. I don't know how he has the energy to write so frequently, as well as interact with wisdom on many threads here. His long term perspective on this industry, and his common sense, is essential.

Have a good and safe day everyone, and thank you to the OP and all who have contributed to the thread.

Bob

If I could work beside anyone to pick their brains along the way Cyger, Strong, or Schilling would be great. These guys are influential to me, there are many greats I've followed though, Berkens, Borgos, Mann, Rosener, Schwartz, Silver, and pretty much every guest on domain sherpa. God Bless 'em

Never ideal, good registrar sold to penny stock
But at least owners are 'set for life' were paid;
(i) $9,511,500 cash; and
(ii) $2,546,066 ($2,360,743 + 529,499 shares)

Brisio even changed the name to"NameSilo"

Hi

I give everyone equal respect,
until they do, or say some :poop: that diminishes it.

respect, to me:
is not how much you can kiss that persons bee hind
or co-sign their words even when it's contrary to your true thoughts.

however, there are some who i admire for their accomplishments.
what they've done for themselves or the additions they made to domain world

and even though it may be times, when we might not agree on the perspective of some things....
we still maintain mutual respect for one another.

but the one i respect most, is myself
becasue if you have no self-respect, then how will you know what respect is?

imo...
