.HOMES re-released

I received in a Uni Newsletter that .HOMES has been released without restrictions. Did anyone else see that and try to register any domains. It was tough going. Most were already taken or very premium prices from the registry. I did manage to get OFFSHORE and LAKESIDE for discounted reg fee

Whilst I was searching. I found RETAIL.DOMAINS available, so took that too

It might be a good idea for the registry to make a website for some of the top reserved domains such as smart .homes or waterfront .homes inorder to promot .homes IMO .

Do these domains resolve to anything for you all, because they don't for me when using my smartphone.

Agreed, there is only a good few ones like Smart.homes , Energy . homes. But the rest are garbage IMO. some peeps just adding any word to . homes thinking there going to sell them.

Oh...there are plenty of good .homes domains "if" you know how to market them. I just came from NamesCon and discovered firsthand a tremendous lack of creativity when it comes to selling domain names. I must have interviewed a half dozen brokers about their marketing strategies, and their eyes glazed over when asked if they'd adopted artificial intelligence strategies to identify potential buyers. Other than maybe Brand Bucket, few had a clue? But even Brand Bucket limits themselves to selling just .coms.

A few of the .homes names I registered; Hitech.homes, Sonoma.homes and even Weatherproof.homes have a market. Note I said they each have a "market", and while each one is different, their markets are target specific. Make sense?

The .com has never been registered before why would you register a GTLD that has a .com sitting unregistered. As I stated it is improper use of the English language for a corporate purpose.

Any two misaligned words will bring results, but you have to place common sense as the first level of criteria.
