IF you truly are going to post something that utterly stupid here ..such as implying
"crypto world . Com " is hardly worth $50

Then you should just give up Domaining RIGHT NOW and trying reading up on some crypto forums , blogs, news , gee idk the Internet and perhaps a little more on this forum !

Idk what the deal is with hate but you can't confuse hate with dumb and what you just said is FLAT OUT DUMB !:stop:

Less posting , more study!
"Dumb" is a broad term, and hey everyone is entitled to their opinion.
But what really is dumb, is someone paying $195,000 for a domain that's not even worth close to that.

And yea I read on this forum, and find a lot of dumb domains being sold for ridiculous prices, but when people are literally having trouble selling a decent domain for as low as $2 - $10, and then this random domain sells for $195,000 it's just a "wtf moment".

Crypto is a large term, I won't dispute that fact... but who in the right mind, would pay $195,000 for this.
Let's not forget:
- South Korea may ban "anonymous currency"
- Bitcoin and many cryptocurrencies have been falling lately.

It is inevitable change is on the way...global banks and global big money are not fond of crypto...that is probably why MM went ahead and moved it rather than continue to hold. Hope I am wrong as I have a few coin names...time will tell.
Your right times are changing, there is no need to keep paying banks endless fees for currency exchanges, as well as having payments delayed for days. This is not a niche, this is a economic shift, most people are still trying to grasp what a bitcoin is. We are in the early days still.

Great brand. Congratulations to Mike Mann and the new smart investor

Names with the suffix "world" are extremely valuable. MyWorld.com of course sold for $1M or so last year. they are almost impossible to get on the drop.

Add to that fact that "crypto" is borderless and it's ideally suited to this suffix "world".

Great start to the year for MM.

Bitcoin is and will continue to be the most valuable currency in the world. It has more value than gold. Why you ask? Because you can mine more gold, you cannot mine more Bitcoin. The supply is finite and if everyone wants a piece it has to be a pretty small piece and the price has got to go up.

Sure there will be dcreases as well but that goes with all currencies.

I bough 2.5 bitcoins early on..... I won't be selling them until they hit 100k each. Just hold on to your coins and see what happens. All the scare mongering shit happening there is the crazy ass financial institution wanting there share of the pie. They're steaming mad they cannot control it.

In this case I think you are wrong and if you own the coins I would advise you to hang on to them.

$9,888usd $12,xxx Canadian
Interesting given it’s at enom, would it have auto transferred, as Mike Mann would not have transferred it.

Are you serious? That domain does not worth even 1% of its "sale" price.
Cryptoworld does not look like professional at all. What's the next sale, crypto4ever.com?
Here are the keyword+world domain sales: https://namebio.com/?s==kjNwMDM4UTM
Checked 15 of the best sales: 4 where developed, one redirects.

I hope the domain CryptoETH.com, cryptocurrencywork.com, LOANCRYPTO.COM, and WalletCrypto.com price can reach 1% of the price CryptoWorld.com

CryptoWorld.com sold too cheap, should be $1.2M
As MyWorld.com sold for $1.2M in 2017

You should trade your 2.5 bitcoin - Do not buy and hold, you should buy and trade bitcoin will multiply your profit. I show you how!

BUY + HOLD STRATEGY
On Jan 1 2017, if you invested $100 USD into Bitcoin, you would now have $1,424 USD or ROI 1324%

ie $100 / $963.06 x $13,694.40 = $1,424 USD

ROI = (1424-100) / 100 x 100 = 1324%

When 1 bitcoin = $963.06 in Jan 1 2017

When 1 bitcoin = $13,694.40 in Jan 1 2018

BUY + TRADE STRATEGY

On Jan 1 2017, if you invested $100 USD into Bitcoin, you would now have $8,830 USD or ROI 8730%

ie $100 / $963.06 + ( 0.104.x2/100x260 days ) = 0.6448 bitcoin x $13,694.40 = $8,830

ROI = (8830 -100 ) / 100 x 100 = 8730%

When 1 bitcoin = $963.06 in Jan 1 2017

When 1 bitcoin = $13,694.40 in Jan 1 2018

Earn 2% daily interest for 260 trading days

You make $8830 with buy and trade, as opposed to $1424 when you buy and hold.

Guys, ten-year veteran reader of DnJournal weekly sales chart here. If this sale is real and legitimate, it is an extreme outlier. "CryptoWorld" is worth about 1500-3000 to an end user and about 500-1000 to a domainer, with a pretty strong confidence interval.

"World"= Pretty 90s sounding to me. The sheer breadth of similar vaguely branded names means that this was an astonishingly poor decision if $195,000 was really spent on it.

MyWorld.com sold $1.2M
CryptoWorld.com should be at least $1.2M+

Mike clearly shows that he is the man( n ) again!

A fantastic sale. And to all you guys who think this is a ”bad domain”: Are you really into domaining yourself??! This phrase is taken in ALL major extensions (and many, many new gTLDs) and crypto is booming like never before!

I don't think that's very good logic. That's like saying that if HomeDepot sold for $5,000,000, than CryptoDepot should too. Comps in domains, are as non-comparative as a marketplace gets, that is, case by case basis.

Who would pay for it? The obvious. Somebody who really wants it and has the money. We'll see where this goes but a simple check and there is:

cryptoworld.io
cryptoworldofficial.com

etc.

could be one of those type of sites making an upgrade

Just checked domainiq:

Found a total of 402 results, other domains with the words cryptoworld in them. So cryptoworld.com would be the best out of all of them. So upgrade for somebody.

Absolutely staggering as usual, but I agree he could've probably bartered more. It's very broad and generic which is good paired with Crypto, aged nice, and well, contains the word Crypto. He earned it.
