Sorry can not show the name right now may be after deal it will be publically announced .
Good good. Keep your sale as private as possible until it is done.

Counter with $17,500 and see what happens. I never just say yes to an inbound offer, in most cases they will make a second offer. It's just the flow of a typical negotiation.

If they up their offer, take it. If they are firm, take it.

It's not close it your BIN but it's a pretty good offer with respect to your BIN.

Congrats
Nice of you to express your views and best of luck

There are several reasons why hiring a real estate Broker will help you get more for your sale. With a real estate Broker on your side, you gain access to a larger pool of buyers, an expert negotiator, more exposure and so much
.

Counter offer. All they can do is say no. If they offered 12k for the name then they want the name. I don't think they would just walk away without countering after offering you 12k.

Check if any other tlds have been recently regged. I have had it happen multiple times that a buyer will reg other tlds before securing the com.

Just request uniregistry assigned broker to open the buyer info for you and they will certainly oblige. They are very supportive based on my personal experience. Good luck!

To offer that amount means the domain is good to use a broker means they may have $`'s do uniregistry know who the potential buyer is?

could be a big cheese with big $$$$$`'s and doesn't want seller to know that because seller may reject offer and ask astronomical price if potential buyer is a big name

That's a gamble only you can decide on whether you take or not you knowing the name etc plus if you need the $12k or not and if you are in a position where you don't need the money now ish you could always have a bit of fun and games with buyer and reject offer or say that you may sell the domain name next year or the year after which might annoy buyer in to either walking away or buying time eg almost having to offer you big $ to tempt you to sell but as they say in the trade - you don't make money till you start saying no -

I wouldn't take the risk. The buyer is one click away from purchasing another name. Most buyers are usually considering 2-3 names.

"Take The Money And Run"

This here's a story about Billy Joe and Bobbie Sue
Two young lovers with nothin' better to do
Than sit around the house, get high, and watch the tube
And here is what happened when they decided to cut loose

They headed down to, ooh, old El Paso
That's where they ran into a great big hassle
Billy Joe shot a man while robbing his castle
Bobbie Sue took the money and run

Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run

Billy Mack is a detective down in Texas
You know he knows just exactly what the facts is
He ain't gonna let those two escape justice
He makes his livin' off of the people's taxes

Bobbie Sue, whoa, whoa, she slipped away
Billy Joe caught up to her the very next day
They got the money, hey
You know they got away
They headed down south and they're still running today
Singin' go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run

I do agree with what your saying but I think it applies more when your dealing with cheaper names. It's much easier to find a list of lower priced names to choose from but when you're dealing with names in the 12 grand range like this one I think it's much harder to find enough names to consider that equally match your criteria. If they offered 12k for this name then chances are they want this one name. I just don't see them walking away from the name without some type of fight for the price they really want to pay. I guess it all does depend on how much the seller has invested in the name to know if the roi is sufficient for him.

Brokers like this are not real brokers at all and should be called out as the thieves they are. I never realized Uniregistry operated like this. I haven't used them yet and certainly never will. This is not a honest way to run a broker business. Shame on Uniregistry. If this is true.

Uniregistry brokers ignore the price you give them and tell the buyer anything they feel like telling them and never even inform the seller of what they told the buyer. In fact, in almost every case, the broker never even bothers to follow up even once with the me as the seller.

Case in point: I got a price request from Uniregistry broker. I told him to try to get $2,995, but I would be willing to take as little as $1,250. The broker never even replied back to me and after a week of him never even returning my inquiries about the progress of the sale, I spoke to a different Uniregistry broker and ask him to find out what was going on. He said the other broker had just sent the buyer a price of $4,400 and that was it and that he could not do anything about it and I was never replied back to about it.

Right. I'm so incensed. I'm going to boycott Uniregistry, in the only way I can. I'm going to transfer all my Uniregistry domains to other Registrars and drop some names. Of course I will never use their marketplace. My action isn't even a pin-prick to Uniregistry. But this is my only way to protest this outrageous behavior. I hope others will do whatever they can from their end.

That's disgraceful. Brokers exist to offer you the value that you yourself dictate. What's the intent here? I wonder how many times sales are forfeited by brokers as they attempt to milk every dollar out of a given domain, instead of asking for the designated price.

One Uniregistry broker told me that the closing ratio of their brokers completion of sales from inbound inquiries is less than 1%. :jawdrop:

A pittance. In that case, I suppose they're just trying to squeeze out every last dollar bill that they can!

Probably the reason is because most of the inquiries are for Frank's own names and he plays the high pricing game. Every inquiry gets a $50,000 price quote hoping some hit at a big number and he gets to keep the majority of his inventory. The volume game works as proven by Schilling, Berkens, Mann etc....
