Not sure if your answer was towards my post or the one from alcy. I am sure that resetting contacts is not because of IRTP as you can freely get email confirmation on the old email from the contacts and avoid changing all the contact information.
Hi DomainZombie - your issue is somewhat unique, per our KnowledgeBase article (
here), you will note that all incoming transfers adopt the default contacts that you have set in your account, unless you have set up additional contacts, in which case you can select a different one (which is always an option for you). What makes the situation unique for you is that, per your post above, all your domain names use different contact details for some reason - so, yes, it is understandable that this may cause you, personally, some issues.
On the flip side, please bear in mind that registrant information should always be 100% real and accurate - ICANN is really clamping down on this and we are receiving requests from them on an almost daily basis to verify the WHOIS info of various domain names, which normally involves running an
ID check with the registrant. I am not suggesting that your registrant/WHOIS info is, necessarily, inaccurate - it could just be that each domain name uses a different email address - but, if it is, you may well experience additional issues, which would not be of our making, further down the line.
