From what I understand, Adam still owes north of $33,000 to previous customers and business partners. As I receive more information, I will update this figure.

Yes it seems they have a reseller program where you can sell their product "under your own company name."


One thing I do notice is that Adam Dicker's version of the web site is missing the SUPPORT tab in the header menu. I suppose support is being handled by BlackwoodProductions but not sure.

DNFcollege.com is still up but the contact page is non-functional.
AdamDicker.com is also still up with what appears to be a functioning contact page. And Adam posted a new domain review video yesterday at the DNF College Facebook page.
Hard to say what Adam's overall plan is. Certainly he's doing some major restructuring.

I haven't heard from one single customer of niche websites who has been happy with what they have received from what they have been promised. So I would definitely think it would be well into the 6 figures? Customers would have just called it quits...

It would be another reason why DS has taken all the videos down to prevent anyone else using niche websites IMO.

I can confirm that Planets.com and Avatar.com have been successfully transferred to our Domain.com, Inc. account. Further, this email is to memorialize in writing that these domains are being held as collateral to secure the $75,000 that is owed by you to Domain.com, Inc. and is currently due for payment in full on or before August 17, 2015 by bank wire to our account at Boulder Dam Credit Union. As soon as the $75,000 is paid in full, we will transfer both domain names back to your account free and clear. Please confirm your agreement with these terms by return email.

Planets.com was not transferred and Adam still owns it at Uniregistrar. So it was only Avatars.com not Avatar.com. Avatars.com went from Uniregistrar to Enom in August. He has names he can sell, then pay people off, it is just ridiculous not to do that. Get it done, I mean @ImageAuthors was very reasonable said I will take a domain for the $250 owed. Just get that done, it is one thing if you have nothing but names can be liquidated and people can move on with their lives.

DCG.com could probably pay the claims mentioned in this thread on its own with money left over.

To be clear, I want the legitimate issues taken care of right away. There are only a few of those in here at the moment.

Have you considered that it might be in your interest to state clearly which claims you consider to be legitimate, and which ones you don't (with your reasoning), and then update us on the progress made in remedying the claims?

Done and all other legitimate complaints are being dealt with.

Can we assume that you consider all of the currently 'unresolved' claims on page #1 are claims that you don't consider legitimate, and if so do you not think it would be of benefit to your reputation to explain why, on a case by case basis?

Just to register my interest -- I have a larger refund due that Adam has promised to resolve this Thursday or Friday. Hopefully, he will honor his word on this and I can put the money into getting my site properly built. I am *very* grateful for Shane's actions in support of those of us in this unfortunate position.

Is this an admission that all bloggers do is regurgitate things that they read elsewhere on the web. Are you not interested enough to ask these questions? Planets.com is at Enom and probably in domain.com's account but they forgot to privatize or change the whois to their own. Your point is valid though. He has plenty of assets to sell to repay victims. This is where law enforcement needs to be involved because he won't unless forced to.

Now I am no expert so I am not giving an opinion but asking a question, thankfully the web work I have had done for sites I own (built by others) has always been ok to very good.

If people got a website and not satisfied would the terms be for Adam to improve the site and not have to give money back just work til the client happy ?

If people want to read that opinion then great. If they want to read my daily list I am appreciative. I have a partner Aaron that writes posts that aren't about me and have a little more research involved. But that's not really what I have done and my blogging style has not changed much.

I worked with Adam on a show. I had no idea that he was taking people's money and not delivering. None. Should I have looked into it? I had not ONE, again not one, email in the last year telling me that Adam was not delivering on websites. So if nobody tells that something is wrong, and nothing wrong is done to me, I'm not exactly sure how I was supposed to bring things to light.

Now that they are, I would merely be regurgitating what everyone knows. I also have worked privately with people assisting them in getting their money back.

I was not in any way suggesting that you, or anybody else high profile (Cyger, for example) knew that Adam Dicker was doing this and were involved in some sort of long term cover up, and neither do I understand how it was that you deduced as such from my post. I didn't imply that at all.

I just want to know why the domain blogosphere and related media are largely ignoring this massive industry scandal now that they do. I quoted you effectively saying that more information was needed. There is lots of it now. Why are most bloggers/writers largely ignoring the current situation around Adam Dicker, but were all happy to report the problems with Toby Clements? (seems everybody has happy to write on that one). I feel that it is a valid question to ask you, as one of the more prominent bloggers, particularly as you were happy yourself to write about Toby Clements owing people money just last year. Forum posts and speaking to people in the industry seemed to be an acceptable source of information for that post?

So what is the answer, is Adam Dicker seen as 'untouchable' because he is perceived as too powerful or too well connected, does he have too much dirt on other people, or is it because the victims of Toby Clements were high profile and the victims of Adam Dicker are seen as 'nobodies' so less important?
