I thought I'd start a new break room thread. The great thing about this thread is you can say whatever the heck you want (except adult) and it's ON TOPIC.

All you have to do is post whatever is in your head when you are here. Simple.

Here are some acronyms we like to use:

YPSBT Your Post Sucks Big Time
YPITDB Your post is the dog's bollox
LPOD - Last Post of Day
FPOD - First....
SPOD - Second.
FPOTWN - Funny Post of the Week Nominee

Featured Friends

JDAB - He has hot women on his new bed... but he worked hard for them
Rogue - Called Rouge more often than the movie Moulin Rouge

SPECIAL SPECIAL GUESTS
Blobfish and girlfriend.

Grace Delete / DefaultUser / WorldsWorstDomainer will personally thank EVERY SINGLE post in this thread UNTIL someone says something about post count and gets too obsessed about reputations and starts gaming the system etc.

^ That has happened so no more ...was fun while it lasted.

Johname will personally LIKE every post in this thread until he doesn't

No racist, sexist, homophobic material that woudnt be acceptable in the 70s please.
We are ok with boobs and we are ok with men with abs (or whatever it is that makes them attractive). Ogling is healthy. Violence, not accepting that it is shallow and non-meaninful judge of people etc. is not. The most important virtue of this thread is respect for all.

Here are some topics that this thread has had:

I AM PERSONALLY UNDECIDED ON SOME POLITICS so things like the below?
I think the crowd should decide.

140 is an abundant number and a harmonic divisor number. It is the sum of the squares of the first seven integers, which makes it a square pyramidal number, and in base 10 it is divisible by the sum of its digits, which makes it a Harshad number.

140 is an odious number because it has an odd number of ones in its binary number. The sum of Euler's totient function φ(x) over the first twenty-one integers is 140.

140 is a repdigit in bases 13, 19, 27, 34, 69, and 139.

140 is also:

The Twitter entry-character limit, a well-known characteristic of the service (based on the text messaging limit)
A film, based on the Twitter entry-character limit, created and edited by Frank Kelly of Ireland[1]
The age that Job died at (Bible, Job 42:16)

Many corn juices (soups really) in Japan. It's interesting to see during the winter, the vending machines serve these hot, as well as coffee.

Wow, a corn vending machine. I would have thought maybe in Iowa or Nebraska but not in Asia. It's hard to comprehend these here but I guess I can understand that we too have things other cultures think is weird also.

Yeah, I actually have quite a bit. All that KFC talk got my mind and eyes screaming "FEED ME KFC" when my stomach wasn't even in the conversation. ;)

The Banana Bunker's plastic does not drastically shrink when cold, making it a superior banana storage product.

Here's a tip! Take a sliced up banana and toss it in the freezer for two hours. Once the banana is frozen solid, toss it in your blender or food processor until it becomes smooth. Viola! You have made cheap banana ice cream!

This has to be the coolest company response to some "tongue in cheek" comments

@briguy - That's frickin' crazy. You can't tell me the person who posted that didn't expect that their item was going to get those kind of comments.

How about a chastity belt for a Banana?

  • Ben May I foresee some non-banana related uses for those

Maybe, but due to their clamshell design, these would make poor cups and ineffective carseats for children. We'd suggest sticking to fruit protection.

That's a complicated question, Heather. Bananas don't exactly "feel" like we humans do, but our scientists estimate that they heavily enjoy the comfort of the banana bunker!
