I ran the codes on the last two pages through my super-awesome-programmer-tools and extracted some information for you guys. Have fun, get rich, and all that.

Unless otherwise stated, accepted currences are: USD, AED, ARS, AUD, BRL, CAD, CHF, CLP, CNY, COP, DKK, EGP, EUR, GBP, HKD, IDR, ILS, INR, JPY, KRW, MAD, MXN, MYR, NZD, PEN, PHP, PKR, PLN, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, TWD, UAH, UYU, VEF, VND, ZAR

I think "new" means new registrations, not new customers, but it could vary. "Credit Card Only" means you cannot use account credit, PayPal, etc. "Single Use" means one use per customer, whereas "Max Uses" is the maximum number of redemptions by anyone.

I just finished a program to bulk test codes and return various information about ones that work. Unfortunately, the GoDaddy page that it uses seems to be rather slow, and I don't want to run multiple queries simultaneously, as they might not like that. I'll test codes periodically as you guys find them and post the results. All of the codes from the last five or so pages will be on their way soon, assuming the results are any different from my previous, hand-assembled post.

Edit: Wow, almost all of these codes are still active! I'm going to test more.

Edit at 6:22 EST: Currently testing 352 codes. Hopefully this won't be too big to post.

The codes tend to expire in six month increments: January 1 and July 1. Expect a fresh batch of codes as we approach July.

There are two types of codes. The ones with all of the restrictions are the most common; GoDaddy refers to them as "viral" codes. The real gems are the non-viral ones, as they don't have any of the usual restrictions; that is, they can be used with PayPal, in any region, etc.--at least, according to my resources, which appear to be complete.

For example, DB99CENTS is a viral code. It expires at the beginning of July. It's single-use, regionally restricted, invalid with PayPal or account credit, and will expire if 10000 people redeem it. On the upside, $0.99 bulk .com registrations is a pretty cool deal.

GD4132C, on the other hand, is a non-viral code--or, as GoDaddy has named it, an "order" code. You'll save 32% off your order, and there don't appear to be any restrictions. Unfortunately, these codes often ignore the six-month expiration rule: this one will be gone this month on the 10th, so use it fast!

Here are all of the non-viral, unrestricted codes you guys have found that are valid for renewals:

• HIPHOP20: 20% off, expires in July
• GDBBS994: 30% off, expires 2/18
• GDBXX1026: 30% off, expires 2/18
• GD4132C: 32% off, expires 2/10

If any of these non-viral codes don't work for you, please PM me: I'd really like to figure out if they have any hidden restrictions.

Using the best non-viral code available at the moment, it looks like the best you'll do on a non-club .com renewal is a bit over $10. That's more expensive than competing registrars like Dynadot, but not by much; you can probably do without switching as long as they keep the codes coming. You could try your luck with the viral codes to get lower prices, but I think most of them don't work with renewals, and they're invariably single-use.

P.S. The code type doesn't appear to have anything to do with a code's format. For example, HIPHOP295 is viral, while HIPHOP20 isn't--no obvious naming convention difference.

DB99CENTS is a viral code, so you're likely running into regional restrictions.

MOXIE295 is also viral, but its regional restrictions may be more lenient. There's also MOXIE749, which identical according to my tests. I suspect that they are for different regions, so if one doesn't work, try the other.

None of the viral codes seem to be of any use for renewals, though most should work for transfers.
