i thought it would be real nice to share some of the emails i receive from fellow domainers trying to sell their crappy names.

hopefully, some of you will read these and stop sending or see the mistakes they make so you won't make them too.

here is one from Andrew Brad, and if he is a member here...he's a clown! why? because he included every other email address he sent this mail to. thus one could harvest his list and spam them too.

To whom it may concern,

The premium generic aged domain FREDLOYAINSURANCE.NET is up for sale and I am emailing several parties that have registered similar domains OR use "[fredloya], [fredloya insurance], [loya insurance], [fred loya claims], [fredloya locations] etc." as keywords in their advertising campaigns. This is a 6-year old domain, with no drops since it was registered in 2006.

According to the Google Traffic Estimator the keywords ‘Fredloya Insurance’ receive over 40,500 searches every month, thus making this a high SEO premium domain worth thousands of dollars.

Right now, the asking price for FredLoyaInsurance.net is just $250, and is available on a first-come-first-served basis. Yes, you read it right, $250 ONLY.

This is a great opportunity to acquire a great domain at a throw-away price. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send me an email or call me directly at +91. 939-2774-412.

All transactions will held either via Paypal or via the secure services of Escrow.com.

Best regards,

Andrew Brad

This isn't the worst name but the owner picked the wrong guy to broker the domain for him.

I am 100% sure the owner didn't picked the guy, but the spammer is doing it without permission.

99% chance it's Alex. He's the biggest spammer that targets domainers.

No , Alex's speciallity is to put a Sayings and Quotes from famous people below each of his spam mails, the dumba$$ thinks that way he looks more intelligent than a regular Spammer.

Last one he sent me had one from Hawkings (poor Stephen, if he knew his sayings about the Universe are used in Domain Sales Spam mails Roflol)

'One, remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Two, never give up work. Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it.Three, if you are lucky enough to find love, remember it is there and don't throw it away. ' - Stephen W. Hawking

I kept receiving emails from "Alex" regarding two names I previously owned - One which I traded and the other dropped. As yall know, "Alex" sends a lot of email.

A month ago I contacted a person who owns a domain I gave away for free a few years ago to see if they wanted to trade for it. It was obvious there was a language barrier at first and when the person finally got the message I wasn't interested in purchasing a domain I already gave away they were rude. I can appreciate the need for money.

So how does this tie into "Alex?" Well a month passes and old "Alex" emails me again about one of the names I dropped. This time it's from the same person that didn't want to trade. Not surprisingly, he has never replied since I identified them.

I don't care about the trade or even the annoying s**t load of emails as much as I do about being rude.

edit-->cured of tourettes while writing this msg

Because Google indexes this website pretty fast, if you post those details in a thread with a subject like "Spammer/Scammer", his online identity would be ruined for life.

A lot of people nowadays type your personal details on Google to "research" you out and see if it turns up some rap sheet.

That's also the other danger, even for legits. If you irritate some end-user with your email bombs, he'll post your contact details on the internet.

I think it is also a Domainer misconception, that end-users are always "happy" receiving "targetted" domain sales pitches. Being "respectful" in your email letter doesn't even matter anymore. What with all the "targetted" sales pitches you get in your inbox almost everyday. Even if you are "kind" and "respectful", people know you are writing off a "sales template". And some would even wonder whether you are a bot, or a human.

Thanks for dropping this link.

In order to process with the deal I need two small things to be accomplished.

1. I need a valuation certificate.

We need a good in depth analysis made by experts but not an automated free service. Without it we both can't be sure in the price.

2. I need a trademark verification as well. Just a formality to be sure you have no problems with trademarks.

Good companies offers this as a part of appraisal. I asked in the forum about reliable valuation/TM verification services.

Please read this information:
http://www.windows-7-forums.com/Archive/504739816.htm

If the evaluation comes higher you can change your asking price. After you send me the professional evaluation via email (usually it takes one day to obtain it) we'll be doing business.

What is your preferred payment method: Escrow.com, International wire transfer, PayPal.com or something else?

That is one reason why some spammers are sending using assumed identities.

And when one identity is run through the mud, scammers and the like make new aliases. An identity getting hurt doesn't mean sudden-death to everyone.

That's true.

And so it is unfortunate for the legits whose contact details end up on this thread. I've seen quite a few angry complaints a few pages back. lol.

It's probably why i think sending solicitation letters, no matter how targetted it may be, can be risky.

Agree with ya, 51. There are no "safe" ways to domain anymore though. Scammers would risk destroying the industry (proof: they already do) to make a buck. They take every legit mean & exploit it, in hopes of profiting. They don't give a damn about the rest of us: they only care about money, no matter who gets hurt in the end. Funnily, I doubt the average asshole domainer makes 10 cents in his life.

Please reply to me([email protected]) and discuss the detail.

There is a Chinese domain spammer that I seem to remember, who uses the same broken English ("Sorry for the disturb if any").

Oh by the way that .net domain is in pending-delete....

The most stupid part of this email is not the broken english or the fact that he is offering a .net to a .com owner (in fact i sold a net to a com owner!),,, but the $530 - $870 price range. As if a potential buyer would say: ok 870 is good, 530 is too low ..roflol
Also funny how he uses weird numbers like 530 instead of 500, 870 instead of 900 to make it look more calculated and professional lmaooo

@Spammers: never use a price range in your emails. Useless and stupid.

Just received yet another email from the DomainEstimator asshole, "congratulating" me on a domain I caught 3 years ago.

DomainEstimator spammer is this guy:

http://www.trademarkia.com/company-ace-enterprises-llc-3793068-page-1-1

ACE Enterprises LLC
10 Washington Street
Wellesley, MASSACHUSETTS 02481
UNITED STATES

Address points to this location, looks like a strip mall: http://no_url_shorteners/maps/kzgVY

Which leads us to the name "William Andrew Roberts" as seen at http://corp.sec.state.ma.us/corp/co...ReadFromDB=True&UpdateAllowed=&FEIN=001059142

Also, if you search the Filings on that last page, a filing on 4/23 says:

JULES B. COLEMAN HAS BEEN REMOVED AS "MANAGER"

So here's another name for ya, former partner of William's, "Jules Bernard Coleman".

---------- Post added at 05:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:54 PM ----------

Got 3 spam emails from "William Andrew Roberts" of DomainEstimator.com / DomainEstimator.co in the last 45 minutes, all for domains registered years ago.

Received: from ns17.servers.coderulers.net ([198.143.185.250])

The IP block belongs to Singlehop http://www.singlehop.com/
Singlehop appears to be a spam poster boy, as seen by 58 entries in the SpamHaus SBL http://www.spamhaus.org/sbl/listings/singlehop.com

In other words, "William Andrew Roberts" of DomainEstimator.com / DomainEstimator.co is in good company with Singlehop.

All the emails are signed by a:

The emails share this footer:

This industry has become a joke thanks to morons like these and countless, brainless spammers.
Can you imagine that amount of domain spam that non-domainers receive on a daily basis. Now try to legitimately sell domains to end users.

1
•••
And of course, if those emails do not produce a sale?

Then they show up here on namepros and try to sell their domains as premium, well searched, blah blah blah.

So remember, for every email you get trying to sell a crap domain, there is a new sale-auction-make offer etc. of a crap doamin being posted here on namepros.

Otherwise, they admitted to breaking the law. "We received your contact details from the Public Domain Deed Records." Unlawful use of the public whois database. These clowns are pathetic sacks of shit.
