The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I have been using emailextractorPro for the past few years to locate emails relating to certain keywords - enabling me to sell to end users almost on a daily basis.
Ex. "London Scaffolding" - would generate business emails for scaffolding companies based in and around London.

I have just purchased an Imac and would like to know if anyone knows of a capable software app/program that is capable of performing this task (extract email addresses based on keywords/search engine searches).

Would highly appreciate any guidance anyone could give us.

@Federer, Have a look at this - now in development - web based:

Thanks Federer, any problems with any malware or spyware with this free program?

There isnt any problem as far as I see. The free version isnt any different fro the paid( fully functional) except that you can not save the emails...

I dont think that is a problem for me because I could easily find a way around that...

For titles I use usually the domain name without the extension.

Just sent out another mail (two addresses) and received this back: "550 POSSIBLE SPAM!"

It may be interesting to know that i mentioned the 'domainname.com' in the subject line and in the email too. I then resent it changing the subjectline to 'domainname' (without .com as i usually do) which passed through alright.

This week I changed my business address (which I list in every email) from a PO Box to a private mailbox at a specific street address. The new address looks like: 1234 Elizabeth #E #108... I could do without the #E but the mailbox business is in a plaza suite.

It will be interesting to see if I notice a better sale rate over the next weeks. So far this week with the new address I've made two $750 sales (plus a $250 domain added to one of the purchases) so it definitely ain't hurting. For what it's worth, two of the three domains were hand-regged this month and the other was recently acquired for $xx.

Of course it's hard to definitively pin any improvement on an address change alone, since factors such as domain quality, number of end users contacted, and luck must be taken into consideration...

Are you referring to the software from emailextractorpro.com or some other software? There seem to be many with the same or similar names

Easier, but will they be read

At the moment I have an excel sheet with all the email addresses of the people I'll contact.

It would be easier to just copy them into the BCC, than open up 100 emails and put in their name and email address!

It would be easier for you, but if their software sees that many in the BCC and puts it in the spam file then you wasted all of your time. Find another way to automate or send out individually. :imho:

So far this week with the new address I've made two $750 sales

Paying attention to those kind of details sure can pay off. Good job.

Looks like you can buy some food this month

I'm using my personal email address and so far two endusers have requested to connect via LinkedIn, both persons didn't buy. Interesting phenomenon; has anyone had this happen too?

Yes, it's because LinkedIn can auto-add whoever has sent them emails

Can someone look into this? I got a domain name listed at sedo in the dot com (swinging site . com) and when I try to view it at mysedo page, it wasnt there so I tried adding it again and right above the "add domain" page, I saw "we are currently verifying this domain" why is this so when I had add two other domain names at the same time which got listed immediately.

Actually, I got "swinging site" dot com on drop and from what I found out at screenshots.com, it had been parked at sedo for a very long time.

Could some explain to me why it is taking them this long to list my domain name? I mean the "we are currently verifying this domain" thing.

Is it because it was under their care and they allowed it to drop or what?

Thanks for the response

Sometimes Sedo's automatic verification is stuck, or something like that.

First of all, just makes sure you had done all these important steps:
1. Temporarily disable privacy protection services during the ownership verification process.
2. Make sure your Sedo contact details match the contact details in the WHOIS records.
3. Set the name servers to NS1.SEDOPARKING.COM and NS2.SEDOPARKING.COM

And if it takes about more than 2 days to verify a domain, just simply contact Sedo's Customer Support.
Then Sedo will do some manual verification to your domains. B-)

Its because it your name still listed under the owner before you.
Because of this it needs to be manually verified and sometimes that takes forever.
Just contact them tomorrow when they are open, they are closed on the weekends.
Just use the online live chat.

posted by Pound:
as anyone tried using BCC for all their emails, rather than sending each one individually?

Would save A LOT of time, and so if you still get positive responses, it might be a better way to go about it?

You should be single-mailing; mass-mailing your domains simply means you aren't targeting buyers. It is rare for me to be able to find more than 30 prospects for a given domain, and almost unheard of to find more than 50. And those are mailed one at a time; my intro letters are targeted and tailored to the prospect (and my response rates, I don't mind saying, are pretty good.)

Thanks Lennco, Casualdomains... I am on it now.

I have another question... I found a domain on the drop and contacted end users. I was expecting 3 major prospects to have contacted me but nothing happened. This major prospects have the .co.uk, .net and the com.au Till date, not even a single response from them.

How do I go about this, please? I havent even made any sale since the last one I sold and I dont know what the problem could be.

Thats is normal, I have sent hundreds of emails out for dozens of names in the past month and have not heard back from most of them.
I did make 6 sales but that is 6 domains out of dozens I emailed out.

It takes time.

Lennco, thanks for the speedy reply. I will be patient. Luckily, someone contacted me yesterday out of the blue for something different but by the end of the day, he agreed to buy one of my domain name for his up coming ecommerce site.( tipas/dot/net). but he said that will be only by December. I once email prospect for this name but got no reply.

Yes, it's because LinkedIn can auto-add whoever has sent them emails

Sorry, but i think there's no such feature in LinkedIn. Adding contacts is a two step process and if it wasn't, it would be a huge issue. There's some automation involved when importing contacts from an address book. But thanks for you reply anyway.

I would Highly recommend not using this aggressive technique.

This thread is endless :)

I would highly recommend not using this aggressive technique. I keep getting bombarded to my Junk mail (fortunately) this duff domain name (by different recipient addresses.)

""Dear Domain Owner,

There is not enough time to mess around when children-book.com is becoming available. Do not think for one second that this will not enhance your marketing and development to your business.

Did you click "send" 300 times, or do you have a script/program that automates that?

each end-user email needs to be changed how the domain benefits that company - so I just do them one by one sending once completed.

it takes time - I just gotta keep putting the effect in.
