Exactly Reece and Bluebecker and these domains are sold out and the people here certainly are not looking to sell to newbies.

Secondly for $7 the people here I think have done quite well.

Thirdly No one here who are the mainstays of this thread told to anyone to buy them in the secondary market. So either stick to the topic of the thread or find your own thread to make your rants on. L-L-L.com no one is talking about anything else.

L-L-L.coms have genuine endusers -- as evidenced by multiple $X,XXX sales and large percentage of developed sites. I've seen far more L-L-L.coms sell for 4 figures than hyphenated 5+ word dotcoms, so no, I don't think newbies would be better off with the latter...

Exactly, I frustrates me when someone doesn't bother to educate oneself and just barges in and states a "totally off the wall" comment when if they bothered to even read a small part of the thread would know that L-L-L's are being used everyday for companies doing business PLUS there are sales every month for XXXX.

regards, Gary.

whether it's L-L-L which leads to L-L-L-L, then to L-L-L-L-L, is my point.
but i'll stay out of YOUR thread, because i see you only want comments that agree or support your biz model.

Good Luck!

Hi Biggie,

maybe it would be good for you to notice that L-L-L.com are being used as a valid alternative for endusers that can`t afford LLL.com

Did you notice that?

Biggie, you misunderstand. True criticism is welcome, but a 'true criticism' would be backed up with evidence. This thread, just like the .mobi threads, in fact like any other thread are just sick and tired of people who post 'opinions with no evidence'.

italiandragon is straight to the point on this.

Criticism is welcome as long as its about l-l-l.coms not any other niche why
stray off the path by using l-l-l.com as a escape goat for other hyphen niches.

Yes L-L-L has two hyphens but only two i may or may not support other
hypen niches but they all have their own statistics and if the statistics
backs up their claim then its a valid niche claim.

Biggie lets see the evidence why you think L-L-L.com is not worth the while ?

Apart from these two reasons as theve already been discussed:

Has two Hypens & Type In Traffic ( Note: read thought the l-l-l.coms threads to find out what was said )

If you have proof why l-l-l.com is no good then please share it with the namepros
community as after all this place is about learning, helping and under standing
ways of domaining and not scamming newcomers.

Lets set a standard with the words we choose example:

Newb or newbies the real word for them is Newcomers

Crap or rubbish the real world for them is Poor

my point is untill we define "what is a domainer" we cant really say if and who handles domains has the correct facts in what is good or bad.

First off no one told you to stay out of anywhere, my post has not been edited so all can see what I said.
I stated this thread was about L-L-L.com and not L-L-L-L-L.com and if you wanted to rant about L-L-L-L-L.com or anything over L-L-L.com for that matter, start another thread and rant because this was about L-L-L.com

Secondly IMO comparing L-L-L.com and L-L-L-L-L.com is like saying Ryan Leaf and Dan Marino were both quarterbacks. Besides the - the similarities stop there IMO.

Thirdly when the first thread was started by GO PC on values of L-L-L.com, no one told all newcomers to buy. As a matter of fact most who participated in the buy out were the farthest thing from newcomers. People here thought for $7 these presented an excellent opportunity. They present opportunity for the following reasons:

Limited supply 17,576 in a world of 6.6 Billion people.
The LLL.com taken and holding a minimum wholesale value of $6000.
A cheap alternative to the LLL.com that smaller companies could afford.
You stay within the .com extension.
5 characters in total
Over 25% of all L-L-L.com were already developed sites.
Bigger domain players such as Rick Schwartz and BuyDomains hold a number of L-L-L

SO I would think for anyone to look and say can I handle buying 50 of these as a spec ? Made a good speculative play.

Every L-L-L.com on Namejet has at least 6 bidders for everyone dropping at a min $70.

I do not believe anyone should go crazy on any genre of investment in the domain market. Now if people missed out on the buyout I would agree I would not be prudent to buy 50 at $100 a piece. But maybe one or two good ones might be worth a speculation. Again IMO

And for those who want to say A MOD POSTED, I run .tv and have nothing to do with any other part of namepros and always post as a domain holder and not a mod unless it is a administrative post in the .tv section.

Very well said Equity. I agree with you totally. I think that it's great to have people who don't agree post and share their points of view. However they need to bring evidence to the table or at least reasoning as to their point of view. Comparing L-L-L-L.com or L-L-L-L-L.com to L-L-L.com is like comparing chalk and cheese.
