Go Daddy says that both "Quick" and "Qwick" are high value keywords valued at $2,102 and $2,413 respectively. This is despite "qwick" being a misspelling.

Always best to stay away from misspellings in all but the strongest of potential brand names.

In your case, "Qwick" isn't terribly intuitive. Both "Kwik" and "Quik" are the most popular misspelled variants of the word. I'd stick with those, but again... make sure the pairing word is extremely strong.

Qwick is one of those alternative spellings that works because it sounds exactly like Quick, is short, and is easy to remember. If the good Quick domains are already taken or priced into the tens of thousands, I can understand taking a shot at Qwick.

That said, I would not put too much faith in GoDaddy's keyword valuations. $2,102 or $2,413 does not necessarily mean there is a buyer willing to pay that amount.

The bigger question is whether someone will see Qwick as an intentional brand rather than a misspelling. I think there is definitely potential there, especially for the right type of startup.

So I would call it a calculated gamble rather than a stupid decision. With domain investing, some of the best bets probably look questionable at the time anyway.
