I see a few threads on recent good purchases, but after speaking to a friend lately who told me that he accidently purchased maritalarts.uk, thinking it spelled "martial arts", it got me wondering what everyone's worst domains they have ever purchased. Maybe ones they'd be embarrased to admit in public.

Personally, my worst has got to be 0dig.com. This goes back to my very first few days of domaining, when I had the mistaken belief that anything with three letters and a number just simply had to be of incredible value. Oops!

I even came so very very close to registering the expired domain 'HeathyDirect.com' just over a week ago until I noticed on the registration screen it was missing an 'L'.

What are some of your biggest mistakes that you dare to admit?

Haha, drunk domaining is something I've yet to experience. I could imagine every name would start to sound like a brilliant idea.

Maybe I should pull the power out on my PC before I go out, otherwise god knows what I would end up with.

Hell, maybe I'd even end up with DrunkDomaining.com in my portfolio

DrunkDomaining doesn't sound that bad to be honest.

Not at all, it sounds pretty good to me.

I know a lot of people tend to stay away from sexual & erotic domains. However You can tell from the sales of domains like Sex**** .com that there's definitely a market there.

I mean even if it wasn't used for a sexual nature, it could still be likely used for a game, or even a resource for those in the industry looking for support, etc

Two years ago I purchased at Sav auctions domain: AfffordableWebDesign.com

Only after winning and purchasing the domain I noticed third letter "f".

Even without the third f, it's a rather worthless 3 word name.
