Hi...
I just noticed there wasn't a post for exotic domains.
What do I mean by "exotic"?
Well... it includes all domains that

1) don't make a logic or geographic sense of their extensions, but fit it well grammatically

OR

2) don't have any of those extensions
com, net, de, info, biz, it, ws, tv, in, co.in, co.uk, ca, us, fr, es, cn, etc.

Just place here some interesting domain, as:

send.to
who.is
mu.mu
del.icio.us
love.it
mag.net
echo.es

etc. etc. :)

Actually, I've got the following:

up.mu
directory.io
luv.it
rule.it
kick.it

I don't know if they have got any real value, but I like them as they are :)

Although it does not fit the exact (TLD) criteria as its a .US, but I do feel it can qualify as an *exotic* name, especially since lately I've been getting inquiries for it....probably due to the popularity of del.icio.us...

The name is ology.us; possibilities: techn.ology.us; bi.ology.us; psych.ology.us and on and on..... :)

Very nice, maybe logy.us would have been better... but this is the sense.

Have that one too.... :) but mentioned ology.us since the inquiries came for this one.

well, the ethimologic sense of the composites come from "logos" (from greek, "to talk"), so "logy" is very better imho.

bio.logy
techno.logy
psycho.logy

etc. etc.

siz.in - 'siz' in Turkish means 'you' in both formal and plural terms; 'sizin' means 'yours'.

Website like del.icio.us is not called exotic name but third level domain name, it is part of domain hack.

Example: you can reg With.us. then, create a sub domain(third Level) "Sex". So it would be "sex.with.us"

with=second level domain name
.us=ccTLD (.com is TLD)
sex=Third level domain name

sker, third level domains are welcome in this post if they make some sense with the extension.

Obviously, del.icio.us will never be developed as "icio.us" - but icio.us is a cool doman fitting my first criteria, as it supports such a great third level domain :)

Equity, you've got great ones. Pay.to is exceptional, is it for sale?
