Just curious of your setup. I've seen in threads people might say, this or that company sucks, you're paying too much, what is the best lander, how much are you paying commission etc. Many times they don't respond with what they're using. I think we're all trying to find that right combo that makes us the most money, while being as smooth as possible for buyer and seller.

Not a thread for advertising parking companies, just want to know setup.

Just rough estimates

My current setup:
650 domains
4 are currently Lease to Own, not including random sales thru the year

90% of my landing pages are Buy Now/Lease To Own thru Afternic/GoDaddy
Some of those also have Make Offer enabled. I'm testing this out on about 5% of them. Had 1 sale doing this. Higher, shoot for the moon type of price with the make offer.

Eventually all will go to Buy Now/Lease to Own landing pages, that option is a requirement for me on landing pages because it simply gets more sales.

Now, domains in limbo. Hand regs and domains won at auction that I can't add to Afternic yet. I've been using Make Offer landers using:

Efty
Giant Panda
Bodis

All decent looking landing pages. Based on a thread today, will experiment to make sure emails go thru and not to junk mail. If 2/3 go to junk, I'll use the one that doesn't

So most sales will be Fast Transfer because of my setup.

For those where I handle myself, in the past I have used Paypal for small ones, Escrow for the rest.

Had a bad experience with Escrow.com last time that almost cost me my biggest sale ever, big travel company in Europe, did wire instead. Haven't used them since, the CEO I was dealing with trashed them.

I haven't tested all the other options out there yet as far as stuff like that. The different Escrows, all the bring your leads here options. So interested in what people are finding successful as far as that.

Your best bet is to set up your own website and create your own landers this is something i have done with trabilo.com . I was getting fed up with afternic landers too many bad leads

I'm doing my own site, with a re-direct on the names at my registrar to the lander. They're all listed BIN. I'm getting about 100 views a month at the mo, on about 30 names.
The only payment options I have are bank transfer or Sedo transfer service. I haven't made a smooth checkout process yet. I'll maybe add an escrow or GD button.

I have made my own site in the past. Using regular WP theme, then themes/plugins just for domains. Right now, besides my current setup, I'm using Efty for my portfolio site. Just my current setup gets more sales than past methods.

Looks like you're using a WP theme. For those that are using Wordpress, list the theme you're using so people can check it out. Looks like you're using the Hello Elementor theme.

Do you have Lease to Own option with your setup? If so, using what? Then Escrow.com for the closing?

For me, I just have 8 domains on Namepros landers at the moment since adding them June 1st 2025 (4 Mo's revenue).

Total revenue across all NP landing pages at the moment is $400.
  • $100 for the design service (Original thread topic)
  • $300 for referral/invite credit card program (Continued revenue from multiple landing pages)
More info on that here: https://www.namepros.com/threads/do...zation-generated-100-usd.1357435/post-9468461

I use the same basic formatting, layout and color palette on all of them (Which I just updated the other day and also added a more authoritative header and footer).

Unlike many others, especially after the Google AFD crash, I don't use any PPC and just focus on Affiliate and Referral commissions right now.

I may also play with adding some Royalty monetization in the future to them. In the past I've made revenue using Zazzle royalties on mini-site projects, so I may try that on a NP lander as well, since I can customize the html.

Storefront. It's fairly rigid imo, which in a way is good, but you can shape it a bit with a few tweaks.

Which domains are you experimenting with "make offer" on and would you mind sharing the links to them?

So how much off the top of your head do you spend annually for renewals? What percent of these 650 domains do you sell annually. I'm curious not being sarcastic. My new strategy is the buy cheap domains I register, if they don't sell in a year, I don't renew.

Personally I believe we're all being Gaslighted and no one buys domains priced more than $100 from any landing page to a register speaking as someone who in 2 years has sold one lousy domain from a landing page for $100, 6-7.xyz (I believe the domain was listed for $500 but that is another story)! People who buy domains at a significant price I believe go through Domain Brokers, if at all.

Trust me, you need better domains if that's the case.

Any domain business or strategy that depends on you using a particular lander to earn money is going to fail in the long run. It's inevitable.

You cannot run a sustainable domain business with bad domains. You'll lose money.

Renewals about $7,300 a year, this year started out great, first sale was the first week that handled all of that. Sold 18 this year so far, 4 currently on Lease to Own, these all happened in the last few months, so if they hold, they will go thru the Summer. Also, priced higher that in the past, so this will be my best year yet. Last year, was actually a bad year, first time I went backwards. That bothered me.

In the past it was probably 4%-5% but I think I was pricing them too low. This year 2%-3%.

Next year, I plan to add a lot more domains and good chance of selling more because I plan to be more proactive, outbound, social media etc.

We'll see.

Trust me I do not need better domains. People need to stop lying and tell the truth! Any of these ridiculous domains that are allegedly sold you people call outliers when one questions them and when ones decent domains aren't sold you call them bad domains without even knowing their names. Here's an example. I bought a 4 letter domain at Namepros Auction for around $280. The bidds were around $220 when I used Buy It Now. If I was to list that same domain today for Auction on Namepros I woud get 0 bids because I am not a good ole boy. The game is fixed.

That's pretty damn good. I figured you had a bunch of over $50 Plus renewals. Hope you have continued success. I have better success buying scratch offs. It's my fault for playing this garbage.
