Obviously there are two sides on the TV forum about hand-reg's. About half a dozen feel that hand-reg's are not worth anything "because if it's still there, it ain't worth two horse patties".

I am not in that camp, nor are many others.....so let's try a "hand-reg" thread.

Rules
1) Only post what you feel is a great hand-registration. mybigvideopalace.tv is NOT a good hand-reg. You all are smart enough to know what is good and what is crap.
2) Explain why it is good, and why you chose it.
3) Explain how it could be dev'd.
4) If you are going to say "hand-reg's suck" go find another thread to feel superior in.
5) Appraisals welcome and desired: Give constructive critisism and explain exactly why and what you appraise it for. Don't just say "it sucks", tell them why it sucks.
6) Max of one hand-reg post per day. Max of 3 hand-reg's in that post.
7) Give people time to appraise. Don't bump for appraisals. If no one responded, use your brain.

I will start:

Hand Reg: Crying.tv
Reason: Random search, but it has 22K+ overture, which is huge.
DEV: Have you ever seen someone cry? Women do it, men do it, kids do it. How about a place for people to get together and talk about their feelings? Or perhaps just a place for people to share joyous occasions: Births, weddings, graduations, etc.

Torfaen dot TV :gl:

Located on the borders of the Brecon Beacons and within easy reach of Wales' capital city Cardiff, Torfaen is the ideal place to visit for someone wanting to sample a flavour of Wales whether it be visiting friends and family, a weekend break or for a little longer.

Who says that about Torfaen?!
"A flavour of Wales"?! It's like the Diet Coke of Wales...
(I'm being negative about the place not the domain)

Some solid ones there.....I really like fica.tv as not only are the google results excellent for an LLLL but the Overture and Wordtracker are good too. Plus it's a pronouncable CVCV...... ...I knew I should have bought it yesterday.

thanks Len, I'm certainly glad I regged it

TVTld.com

Not a .tv persay but...

TVTld.com

It seems to have been registered for quite a few years previously.
I've checked for this name a few months back and it was taken. Today I was inspired by the list that lzy posted to look it up again. To my surprise, it was available and quickly grabbed by me. :tu:

I've had success with MeTLD.com, propping it to the #1 position (but #2 now because of Wikipedia) on Google for the keyword ".me tld" by slapping a simple Wordpress blog on the domain and writing a few articles about the extension.

Hmm. Should I develop this?
Pretty much :sold: on the idea.

I thought that 'fica' was the word for fig. Maybe not :red:

And Vero is a common nickname for Veronique. Also means "true" in Italian.

Yeah...it's a little early for typos and HY-PHENS. :)

I agree with the typos for the most part for sure. But I look at it more of a misspelled word instead of a typo. But I was on the fence with it. I appreciate your opinions.

For geo names Wikipedia is quite safe as reference.

Majority of Singaporeans who go online uses English only. Hope I'm wrong and I wish you all the best. :]
