Last month YMCDN.com closing at $127,801 was a big story, the domain being sought after for it’s link profile seemed to be way overpriced. It seems that actual sales from auctions closing at much less than the original is more common than some of us realized. Thanks for keeping us up to date on situations like this @equity78.

It will certainly be interesting to see who the end user is and whether it truly will become what it's brief statement says. Even if you click their Twitter it does not go to a live profile as of this morning, so seems impossible to learn more.

It is really surprising that it still has the huge backlink profile. As I understand it the owner was US PetaBox, an internet archive, but it was active on this domain name back in 2013 with no recent updates for years on the Wayback Machine.

The exact same acronym is available to hand register in .org (or .info) so it is pretty clear it was bought only for the backlinks.

Thanks again for alerting us to a potentially very interesting story on several grounds.

Bob
